This place is absolutely adorable and the aesthetic is perfect. Lots of outdoor seating and chill spots. Nice and quiet and comfortable. The staff was super helpful. Loved the little binder in the room (some good laughs in there). It’s clear the owner takes a lot of pride in this little place. Felt very safe parking our motorcycles there.

Room was nice and clean. Had everything we needed. The shower was really small. But had hot water and good pressure. Staff was very nice. If I was in Deadwood again, I’d stay there. Close enough to everything but not so close to be hectic. Nice restaurant just a few steps away. Miners I think it was called. And a short walk to the right had coffee and pastries that were awesome. Lulu’s was its name.

Very clean! And in a safe area walkable to downtown, the trails and a variety of restaurants and breweries. Did not actually talk with the staff but text communication was prompt and very easy and accommodating at check-in. Safe, off-street parking and one of the trolley stops was next to the motel.

We loved staying here it had that 'staying in a cabin feel' to it. The rooms were a great size and cozy. Location was convenient when coming or going outta town. And the lady that runs the place was so nice and accommodating, she came out to talk to us while we sat out in the patio area and chatted to make sure we were all good with everything.

The Cedarwood was an excellent choice for our groups ride on the Mickleson Trail - Starla the proprietor was very helpful and gave us great tips on town and the surrounding restaurants. We will stay there again on our next trip.

Very nice staff. Quick check in. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great shower pressure. Stayed during the marathon and was able to have late check out in order to shower and rest a little before leaving. Thanks for the great experience.

The owner Starla was wonderful. Her hospitality went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The property and rooms were decorated beautifully and well maintained. I highly recommend Cedar Wood Inn for your next stay to Deadwood.

I found the Cedar Wood Inn to be very comfortable and quaint. Very clean and well maintained. There were 2 outside sitting areas that were great for drinking morning coffee and winding down the day in the evening. This was my first stay and if I make it back to Deadwood I will stay again. Thank you Cedar Wood Inn for a lovely place to stay while visiting Deadwood.

Very well maintained property in a quieter part of town. Within easy walking distance of downtown attractions. Starla was very personable and had lots of great suggestions for restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again if in the area! Thanks!
