The hotel is located in the center of Boston & very convenient as a subway station was right there. Room & bathroom were smaller in the size, but functional. Nice bed to sleep. The top floor is a bar (separate from the hotel) & has a great view. Check in & our are fast & smooth as you do it yourself at a kiosk. There are people there to help you! Unfortunately & surprisingly a staff didn’t know what/where JFK Presidential Library was when we asked for the directions…

Staying at Citizen M is a lot like shopping at Aldi. There's some insider knowledge needed. The hotel is fairly high tech. The check in is mostly self service. You even make your own key card. You must use your key card to operate the elevator, which is great for security, but frustrating for first time travelers who aren't in on the secret. In your room, you use an ipad to operate your TV, lights, climate, and blinds. The room is small, but the lobby is huge and really nice — the kind of place you'll enjoy hanging in. There's a nice outdoor patio, too. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and plan on returning. My only complaints: 1) No water glasses in the rooms (a complication for taking pills) 2) After checkout, you can hang in the lobby but can't use the outdoor patio because it requires a keycard.

I moved to this hotel after a terrible experience at a hotel nearby. This place was just what I needed after that. So clean, everything was very accessible. The amenities were great. The rooms are small, but that’s to be expected downtown and I found the way they cleverly used space to be cozy and comfortable. The hotel reminded me a lot of hotels theoughout Europe. I would come back for sure.

The room was well-designed, efficient use of space with all amenities. I especially liked the fact that everything could be controlled with the Ipad. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to shops at Newbury street and with the T right next door. The lobby was well designed with ample areas for lounging, dining or just spending time with other guests. I loved the vibe. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Boston.

Looked new, clean, modern design, a lot of attention paid to aesthetics. One thing missing was tea/coffee maker in room. No bathtub but large shower.

The location was excellent! We walked everywhere! We really loved the whole living room/hang out concept on the main floor. The gym was a little crowded, but nice. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
