The “sleep mode” was by far my favorite feature. I clicked a button on the iPad and the entire room went dark and I was able to get in a full deep sleep

The bed was so comfortable and the lobby area was spacious so the size of the bedroom was not an issue. The format of the hotel is well executed.

I appreciated the daily complementary snacks they provided for breakfast and dinner. I was able to pick out a pastry and tea or coffee and at evening I was able to pick out an lite entrée at the bar, per stay!

Wow! This whole trip to LA was amazing, especially because citizenM was such an incredible place. My boyfriend and I stayed for Anime Expo for about a week. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the amazing decorations on every wall! Everything was spotless, even the lobby bathrooms. The staff at the service desk were super helpful and even helped us with early check-in and check-out. The hotel room was small, but it was no problem at all with two of us, two suitcases, and carry-on bags. The tablet was really cool, letting us control everything from the lighting to the curtains and climate. I’d never had that before. There was a scheduled cleaning, but we found out they’d been in and replaced our towels and blankets every day. It was very much appreciated. The buffet breakfast was delicious and their coffee/bar service was neat. And one more thing, for those attending Anime Expo, they had a sign that guides those who are taking the shuttle to the event which was helpful. All in all, we will certainly book this hotel again when we come back to downtown Los Angeles again. Thank you citizenM!

A very neat and beautiful stay , I really did not expect it to be honest. The staffs were extremely friendly, respectful and super helpful. Will definitely be staying there again when next I am in LA.

The room was very clean and cozy perfect for 1-2 people! Staff all very friendly and extremely helpful with the IPad checkin. All employees greeted with a smile and seemed happy to help not annoyed or like they couldn’t be bothered (rare)! My only complaint was there was no free tea ($4) or coffee. Free water and reusable glass bottles available though. Because it is such a small hotel and I’m sure alot of solo travelers (like myself), it would be nice if they charged for breakfast per person vs per room (~$22). They also ran out of every toiletry I requested (eg lotion, shower cap) so it would be nice if that had been in stock. All this aside I would 100% stay at this hotel again! Thankfully in safe walking distance (>5 minutes) from Central Market where you can have plenty of food options. Speaking of safe they require key card entry at night and have a security guard right out front. Would recommend to anyone needed a comfy, safe, place to stay for a quick trip to DTLA!
