I am a frequent visitor to South Padre Island and have previously stayed at the Coco Beach Hotel before it was renovated. I was pleasantly surprised to find the property in much better shape. I was happy with the location of the room we booked. The bed was comfortable and the linens were good. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool and quiet. The hotel has a beachside bar and restaurant which is convenient. Beach access is easy and close by. An excellent two-night stay with excellent weather!

Room was clean and cool, it's located just feet from the beach, staff was friendly and helpful. May want to upgrade hair dryers and put an iron and ironing board in the room.

Our stay at Coco Beach Club and Resort was far better than expected. The building is older, but the care the staff puts into maintaining the property is clear. Everything feels tended to with pride, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The bar and restaurant were the standout feature of our visit. The service and food were exceptional, surpassing several fine dining restaurants we tried on the trip. Ed, the bartender, went out of his way to make sure we felt at home. He checked in often, made thoughtful recommendations, and even made sure our dog had a water bowl and pup cups. His kindness set the tone for the entire stay. Fred, who manages the beach chairs and umbrellas, was equally impressive. He was professional, friendly, and always quick to help with anything we needed. Whether adjusting our setup or finding the best spot, he made the beach experience effortless and relaxing. The food deserves special praise. The chef brings real heart and culture to dishes that might seem like simple bar food, yet everything we tasted was elevated and full of flavor. The only challenge was parking. During peak times, beach visitors often take the available spots, making it easy to lose your space. It would be wonderful if the resort eventually designated or painted parking spots for each room to avoid this issue. Overall, Coco Beach Club and Resort offered a memorable and comfortable stay. The staff is the heart of the experience, and they made us feel genuinely cared for.

Has outdoor patio area to sit outside and a minbar and small pool area. Walk way to go to the beach, the bathrooms are small.

Todo excelente, lo único que la oficina estaba cerrada para el check in pero el bar tender nos atendió excelente, nos dio la habitación. Obviamente presenta el desgaste de un hotel pegado al mar, pero muy limpio. Estaría bien renovaran las toallas, yo llevaba las mías pero es una sugerencia. Lo único que está pésimo es la alberca, literal súper pequeña, parece chapoteadero… Eso sí un X por lo demás está muy cómodo, limpio y muy a gusto.
