The staff were great. They gave great advise to get around town and what to see. The hotel had a different breakfast each morning we were there. They offered free soup and ice cream everyday. Fruit was also available all day long as well!

Front desk staff were very helpful. Soup in the evening and ice cream all day were really nice and unexpected touches. Room was nice and liked that we could request towels and vanity items on door hanger and the items were waiting for us when we returned from our day exploring the area. Only not great thing was breakfast. Not many food options, popular items seemed to always be empty or close to empty, eating area was very small, trash was over-flowing.

Our family stayed here for several nights while visiting Acadia National Park, Lubec, Bangor and it was a great home base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus each morning, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the convenient location—close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia while avoiding the higher prices and crowds. Overall, an excellent value for families visiting Maine!

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was patient, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They made us feel like friends, not just guests, and gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants. We appreciated the fresh cookies at check-in, along with the ice cream, coffee, tea, and water that were always available. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the evening soup was a nice bonus. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Hotel is centrally located to use as home base as you explore the east part of the state. While not new it was very clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Continental breakfast had good variety and was good and helps to cut down on cost. Having a laundry on site can help minimize your packing if you are doing an extended stay. I would definitely recommend.

Great experience! Good value for the money. The distance from downtown bar harbor was about 30+minutes (with traffic) but we knew the proximity before booking. We will book again for next year if our plans come together.
