We stayed there for a week in June. When we arrived, the hotel was empty, and almost all accommodations were available. We chose the third floor, which is the furthest from the elevator. The manager was really polite and helpful. The room was spotless and easy to use. The rooms are smaller than we have stayed in comfort inns before, but it was fine. We only had breakfast once, and it was an interesting experience. The waiters were more concerned about making sure there was plenty of food available or looking after the area. It was a minor issue, but after this experience, we did not have breakfast in the hotel again. The hotel is in a convent setting, close to a variety of restaurants and stores. Despite the fact that it is close to the freeway, the hotel is peaceful.

We chose this location because it was reasonably priced and very close to where our son lives. It was generally nice. The room was clean. The bed was a little comfortable, but not as nice as others we have used. Breakfast was basic. They have the basic waffle maker and continental breakfast items and then have bacon and scrambled eggs. It would have been nice if there had been a variation in the hot items, but it was definitely better than a continental breakfast. Their exercise room is also limited to one exercise bike, one treadmill, and heavy free weights too heavy for my wife to use who usually likes using free weights.

It was strange pulling up. The outside does not appear to be in the pictures I had seen prior to booking. The main entrance seemed strange because one of the doors had been dragged. I was surprised by the appearance because of the price we paid, which was comparable to a Hampton or Watford. I was also surprised to hear the attendant quote the gentleman in front of us for much less. The room was mediocre. The bathroom didn't have accessibility rails, which surprised me. The bed was very comfortable, and the room appeared to be clean in all aspects. The pool area was adequate. Although the pool posted closing at 11 p.m., the pool was closed at 11 p.m. because of the towels not filled and the pool had posted closing at 11 p.m. We missed breakfast since it was already available. The only item left out at a.m. was coffee. I know which other items were left. The service was prompt when we checked in. We didn't come into contact with any other employees. I might not have felt safe if I hadn't been on the third floor. It's a good location to spend the night, but nothing more.

I will not be returning to this hotel. The place is clean and has quiet, comfortable rooms. But, there is a homeless person sleeping in the guest laundry room. I informed the hotel management and they said they knew about him. He is harmless. Better in this place than outside with a dead popsicle. Sadly, there is nothing we can do about it.
