We were there on the opening weekend. What a mess! This lovely hotel simply wasn't ready. The bad front desk staff at checkin did her absolute best. What I assume to be the manager came out, sneered at her, and quickly moved to the back. The poor girl did her best to use what she was working with. Continually apologized. The overnight clerk was great! She always had a smile on her face. The sales manager there that weekend should have been the top hitter. She was fantastic! She went to assist us. She did her best to fix it. She clearly showed her care. She apologized for not having breakfast. She even went and bought fruit out of her own pocket and gave out what she had so these girls could eat before the ball. Whomever I spoke to on the phone was a risqué! She was rude and offered only 10 dollars off! Two days without hot water! no! no amenities! I just assume she was a sneering lady. These girls there that weekend tried, but they clearly did not have the tools they required. I was convinced by the sales manager to try again in the spring. I hope it improves. The only reason for more than one star is because of the hotel women I encountered.

She genuinely demonstrated her concern. She apologized for not having breakfast. She even went to purchase fruit from her own pocket and out what she had so these girls could eat before the game.
