They were very accommodating and we had a good time at the pool and hot tub. There was left over clothes from whoever stayed In the room before us that we found in the closet. Otherwise, everything was fine. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Decent options

This is a fine establishment. I need to say that up-front. It is immigrant family owned, which can be code for some people. But this a compliment for this property. The family works hard, is attentive, appears very supportive of each other, and very outgoing with their guests. I would stay with them any time I was in the Saint Joseph/Benton Harbor area - they offered real value, and I liked the operators very much.

Over all very nice stay. Three negatives that didn't impact our stay too much....but need addressing..... 1. Shower head was old with buildup. 20 dollar fix...it needs replacing. And there was no water pressure. The sink, on the other hand, had great pressure. Weird. 2. In the bathroom...the wallpaper was coming off which looks bad. 3. Hair dryer outside plastic broken, showing inner metal. Probably not too safe. Again, they are about 20 bucks....replace it asap. Room 222. I'd absolutely stay again.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and the air conditioning was cold. I stay here whenever I'm in town. They are doing major road construction right now, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

The TV and Internet were out the whole last day and night we were there. We don't know if it was area wide or just the hotel. The breakfast was minimal the first day, but much better the next two days. Overall, it was a decently priced stay for a family of 5. We were there to visit beaches and ended up in the middle of the wildfire smoke, which put a damper on our plans.
