While the hotel is on the ocean, you cannot see the ocean from any room--the sand dunes block the view. It is a short walk to the top of the dunes for an uninterrupted view of the beach in both directions. We walked on the beach one mile in each direction with no issues. This seemed to be true of all ocean-front hotels and restaurants. A few places along the Nags Head to Kitty Hawk coastal area have 2nd or 3rd story room that are above the dunes. The room was nice, very quiet and a great place to stay.

Staff was all super nice and helpful. They all spoke in such a kind manner. We arrived before check-in and was able to park on site to use the pool and beach till check in. The hotel is a little out dated, but over all you can tell they have worked on updating. Breakfast was included, and it’s your average food. Yogurt, cereal, fruit and a few hot items. The room itself self was clean.

Clean property and central location. Good amenities/outside shower, breakfast, and parking. The staff was wonderful. I only wish there was a beach view (dune views only). The walk to the beach/over the dune may be tough for elderly or people with accessibility needs. Otherwise, very nice, would stay again.
