We were pleasantly surprised with the quaintness and charm of the rooms. Also, the cafe served great wine and the restaurant served a delicious breakfast. The valet and all staff were gracious and kind!

What’s not to like about stepping back in time with a stay at the Delta King Hotel. It’s docked right on the Sacramento River. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. The in room coffee is really good tasting. Both the bar and grill and the restaurant’s food were very good. Breakfast was especially tasty. There isn’t an elevator but the friendly staff helped us up with our bags. Got a room on 4th deck on the river side. We stayed 2 nights and the location is great for exploring Old Sacramento.

This was so fun! Great hospitality from all staff. We walked across the bridge to a baseball game, short walk, which was fun. Felt safe the entire stay. So much to do within walking distance of the ship. Shopping, museums, food, you can spend a day or two just walking distance away. Room was small but expected on an old ferry, bathroom had a pull chain toilet. Would recommend! *****

Petite cabine de bateau tout confort avec une salle de bain spacieuse. Seul problème: le réglage de la climatisation.

We spent two nights over Father's Day weekend. We were in town to catch an A's game and a concert at Golden 1. This location is unbeatable. Everything within walking distance. We spent some time both days at the bar. Drinks were great. Front desk was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the historical onvionce of the Delta King. They did an excellent job in the restoration, keeping the old parts and pieces. The bedroom and baths were small but adequate, adding to the charm. I would definitely recommend staying on the Delta King if you are into historical things.

I would stay here again. Loved the location in Old town Sacramento. Shopping was amazing. Room was a typical smallish ship stateroom. Restaurant was good. I was awakened in the wee hours by barking Sea Lions. They provide ear plugs, but I thought it was uniquely charming and annoying all at the same time.

The location can’t be beat - so nice to be right there is Old Town close to so many attractions. We enjoyed the incredible view from the deck while having dinner and drinks in the bar. The food was excellent! We were confused when we saw ear plugs on the nightstands in our room - but they made sense when we heard the Sea Lions barking early in the morning. Not a big deal for us … but something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to such sounds.
