This is an amazing motel to stay at for the budget friendly traveler. Close to the park, clean, and safe! The only thing the room was missing was a couple of shelves and hooks to place your things. But I would definitely stay here again!

The park hosts the Johnsons were amazing people. Very friendly, open minded and helpful. Property was extremely clean and the rooms were perfect size for a DENALI adventure. Dont expect Hilton or Hyatt if you do, go there instead.

The rooms were small but extremely clean and well equipped. Check in was very smooth and handled by a lot of warmth by the staff . The housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly . And this was the only place where we had full cell signal as well as WiFi in our 9 days trip to Alaska

Pros: About 8 miles from the Denali National Park entrance. Room was small, but clean. A plug in heater was provided. There's also a plug in fan. There is a min-refrigerator in the room. There were extra blankets if needed. Hair dryer is provided. There was a bottle of something on the wall of the shower - not sure if it was soap, shampoo, or a combination. Check-in and check-out was easy and quick. Cons: The shower is tight and it took a while for the water to get hot. I recommend turning on the water and letting it run before stepping into the shower as there isn't any room to stand without the water hitting you and it would be freezing. You make your own beds. Could hear the highway traffic all night, so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. I could still hear the traffic even with wearing ear plugs.

Spent 6 nights with another couple in one of their family units. Had plenty of space for the four adults. Was a plus to have a kitchen available. The bathroom was quite roomy and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Owners were very responsive and friendly. Would love to stay here again as the location can't be beat!
