Absolutely wonderful! And the hotel next door, being able to use their facilities made it even better! Our “ocean view room” however was more a “hotel next door view.”

We really enjoyed the different pools to choose from as well as walking to the beach. The beach staff renting chairs & umbrellas were awesome! Enjoyed the lazy river. Only real problem was the uncomfortable bed. It was ok, but should have been nicer. Close to the boardwalk & pier. Elevators seem to break down often, but were repaired quickly. Skybridge between bayside & gulfside was great & very helpful.

Everything was right there. The beaches were clean and nice, and the pier next door was great; we seen dolphins, sharks, sea turtles and more!

My family enjoyed being close to the beach. We also enjoyed the amenities offered at Destin West like the lazy river, various pools as well as walking distance to the Broadwalk/pier and convenience to the grocery store. The Destin West staff was friendly and accommodating. Great trip, looking forward to our next one!

Great place for a couple or family. Beach access is very easy and beach is very nice and clean. Room was spacious and everything you need for a comfortable stay was included in the room. Will definitely be going back

I liked the fact that the beach was right there with the hotel and the guys running the chair rentals did an excellent job explaining the policy with them. The view of everything from our room was beautiful as well. If I had to choose a thing I didn't like, it would be that the heated pools and hot tubs were down the first two days there but the beach made up for it. Thanks

Loved our stay! Looking at the reviews I had no idea the resort was so big and had a gulfside and beachside but the walkway over the highway was so perfect. We loved going to the beach in the morning and spend the afternoon in the lazy river. The lazy river had bbq pits, tables, spa and pools around it and we absolutely enjoyed it so much. We stayed on the villa side and although our room was still small for a family of 4 we will definitely be back and look for a 2 bedroom.

We celebrated our 36 anniversary with this trip. Loved having beach chairs and an umbrella that came with the rental! The pools were great too! Our rental was perfect for two.

Couldn't seem to find more than 1 hot tub. I would have liked to have access to hot tubs past 10 pm.

We were able to upgrade and really enjoyed the semi private beach area pools were well maintained would have been nice to been provided towels for beach and pool area was worried about using room towels wife needed hair dryer which flying down limited us bringing bulky items but overall will stay there again
