This place was a dream. Room was clean, along with the entire Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I will always stay here. Balcony view of the ocean was breathtaking. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Mexico Beach

The front staff was amazing! From arriving early and being able to check in right away was just the cherry on top after a lengthy drive. After the first night of freezing in the room, I was able to run downstairs and Tristan (GM) hooked me up with allll the blankets AND towels since housekeeping was a bit confusing. We loved having the perfect ocean view. I watched the sun rise every morning there. Direct beach access is a dream when all you want is to park and not leave - Driftwood met that expectation! Everything was clean. The elevator was fast (IYKYK). Loved having access to a huge ice machine, cheap laundry services and the cutest gift shop. We didn’t get a chance to just sit and swing on the porch but it was adorable. They have a nice shower off post beach right before the ramp which made going to the rooms nice, clean and easy. We ate at Shipwreck (recommended by one of the front desk ladies) and it was good. Lots of little shops around. I’m already planning my next trip but this time with a stove. IF I had to make any con it would be that if you were on the end or next to an end room your balconies are not as private - you’ll be able to say hi to your neighbor. Overall, 10/10. Highly recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The overall stay was fabulous! The Martin bird houses add a touch of peacefulness. My only complaint is the people above me were loud. I would definitely go back.

The property and grounds were beautiful. There is convenient parking and a welcoming lobby with lovely art and gifts. Our room was spacious and very well-equipped. We loved our large waterfront balcony and the hotel's easy access to the beach. The room had a musty smell and a bit of a damp feel. This was probably due to the humidity? We used some room spray and it was fine. Overall, this was a great hotel and we would stay here again.

We ended up staying at the Driftwood Inn for one night after our travel plans changed, and it turned out to be a great find. The place has a really neat vibe to it. It’s beachy, laid back, artistic, and a little eclectic in the best way. Everywhere you look there are interesting details—from the artwork and gift shop to the handmade birdhouses for the purple martins. There are also plenty of places to just sit and relax, whether that’s on a swing, around a fire pit, or simply enjoying the beachfront setting. Tristan was great to work with. We were looking for a room at the last minute, and he was friendly, helpful, and made everything easy. What’s funny is that we’d noticed the Driftwood on a previous trip and thought it looked like a cool place. When we suddenly needed somewhere to stay, it was the first place that came to mind. We were fortunate enough to get a room, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. We were only there for a night, but we’d absolutely stay again. It’s the kind of place that has personality and character, and it feels very different from a typical hotel. If you’re looking for a relaxed beach atmosphere right on the water, it’s worth checking out.
