I've stayed at El Rey many times, and I always enjoy it. The rooms are large and smartly decorated, there are many fun events that regularly occur on the property, and everything is well maintained. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, although the bartenders at La Reina seem to favor local patrons and can sometimes be aloof. The La Reina Mesita foodtruck is a bit hit-or-miss, but is nonetheless convenient. Overall, it's a fun place with great amenities and is centrally-located. Definitely recommend!

The property is absolutely beautiful, with lots of little nooks to sit outside or inside. Check in was smooth and the room was clean. The on-site bar and food truck were both great, as well. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Santa Fe.

An old-school gem on on the Santa Fe loop of Route 66, but with all modern updates. Charming bar and lobby with local live music acts and a food truck offering New Mexico classics like green-chili cheeseburgers and pastor tacos. The perfect spot to spend a night or two when on a roadtrip. Short drive to the Santa Fe Plaza and Canyon Rd. art galleries. A few very good restaurants within walking distance. The Pantry (literally next door) was great for breakfast. Take advantage of the pool -- but beware: in the summer there are too many kids in the hot tub and sauna.

We stayed in the king suite with kitchen and patio. Nice Community vibe with multiple common areas to relax. Great aesthetics and landscaping. Great pool over 8 ft deep cool & refreshing. Plenty of towels & loungers w clean Restrooms close. Delicious food truck close with a beautiful bar. Rooms & beds clean & comfortable. Spacious bathroom with skylight. Good shampoo conditioner body wash and lotion w Plenty of hot water. Plenty of parking and restaurants close. Staff nice. Recommend.

El Rey is a really beautiful property and the staff is wonderful and helpful. All the guests appeared relaxed too! It was wonderful they could accommodate our pet as well.

The room was beautifully re-done. Wonderful bed and nice bathroom. The water pressure in the shower could have been better, but overall the room was great. The hot tub was very dirty when I arrived. After telling the staff it was much cleaner the next day. The pool was clean and beautiful.

El Rey Court is one of those special places you just happen across on occassion. This was just a one night stay during a road trip, and it's a gem. The grounds are beautiful and the people working in the food truck were amazing. It was a nostalgic experience for me, and whenever I'm in, or going through Santa Fe again, this is where I'll be.

A hailstorm just a day or two before we arrived may have contributed, but the hot tub looked like it was in serious need of cleaning so we passed on it. We arrived before published check in time and room was not yet ready. Front desk was very accommodating and offered a similar room that was ready so we could check in early. Just wish they had advised us it was a handicap room with a roll in shower and no tub. Shower was nice though and room was nice and clean. Only problem with bathroom was no counter or shelf space at all, not sure if this is typical or unique to our room type.. Hair dryer would have been a nice amenity as well. AC unit was a bit noisy, thankfully we didn't need it after sunset. Would recommend trying to get one of their single story units. Ours was on the ground floor of a two story section and we heard every heavy footstep and bits of conversation from the room above us. Overall it is an interesting break from a chain hotel, fairly modern but with a hint of nostalgia.

It was great! Wonderful staff, especially the bartender who gave me a ride in her car to my building, when she saw that I was using a cane. She also bartended the party that we were attending, and served a great Prosecco! The front desk staff were very sweet and helpful. The room was perfectly comfortable!
