Place is awesome, can’t get any closer to the canyon, food in the restaurant is awesome, location and shuttle bus service is great. My only two negative experiences was need more parking and their internet was terrible. If I come back, I would arrive Saturday and leave Wednesday, little less crowded.

The whole hotel was great. It had that old hunting l9dge, Teddy Roosevelt feeling. Everything was very clean and inviting. The staff were all super nice and helpful. We had one issue that required maintenance and it was fixed very quickly. You meed to book for breakfast and diner as soon as you can since those fill up quickly. We were only able to get breakfast. The food was very good and service was on point. The view of the canyon while you eat cannot be beat. Definitely would recommend staying here.

El Tovar provides perfect space for groups to gather and also find their own private time when desired. Location couldn’t be better for exploring the magical Grand Canyon from any vantage point. The free coffee in the mezzanine was a special treat as you can awaken on your own time as friends and family meander up in the morning. A wonderful place I hope to return to someday.

We had a fabulous stay at the El Tovar. The location is the highlight of staying at this hotel. You are literally on the on the canyon wall. We ate at the lounge and at the restaurant. I would say the food is OK. You’re staying there for the View and the opportunity to stay in a historical hotel.

Best place you can stay near the canyon. Staff is always great and after the day crowd leaves, you will feel like you have a private spot on the rim. Tip your bartenders and eat at the restaurant.

Excellent location, rim wall right outside the hotel!! Shuttle stop located really close. I highly recommend staying at the El Tovar. Hotel is so historic and beautiful.

The scenery around the hotel is outstanding as the Grand Canyon overlook is right there. The bar is very small and hard to get a table. Property is clean and great staff. The restaurant is great.
