We stayed here a few times and thought it was fine until 482022. I came for a college tour and told them in advance that we would be late checking in after midnight. We reserved 3 rooms. One of them was for our son, who is a minor, and we needed to be next door or at least close to him. Our son was checked in with another parent earlier that afternoon, and they also informed the front desk personnel in person that we would be late but needed to be near to the boys' room for safety. The staff assured them that wed be taken care of once we arrived, but the contrary occurred. We told them three different ways of what we needed, 1 via online booking notes, 2 through another hotel guest directly, 3 my husband called them on the way up and spoke directly to them. After arriving, the front desk employees told us she did not see the notes, and our room had been given away! We booked and paid for a twobedroom suite, but he was assigned a onebedroom suite on four floors and on the opposite side of the hotel to our son. We talked with the hotel manager mike last August, and he assured us that he would get us a room on the same floor right next to our son. Apparently, she did not need to call us back and never did. He explained that he was going to call us back at 3:56 am,

The hotel is undergoing a renovation, but the staff shines brightly. The beds are cozy, and the bedrooms are very spacious. I started my stay with Sophie at the front desk. Kind, helpful, and welcoming. Memo at the front valet counter greets you like a long lost friend and seeks out ways to assist you with anything you need. Donnas energy and smile make you want to come and order food just so you can see her. Additionally, on the complimentary evening event, Mercy behind the bar is a lively conversationalist who recalls what you ordered and even giving advice if you don't know what to have. As we start traveling and working on the road again, people like these make it fun to leave home.

My wife has never been to Sacramento in all her years in California. This was her first trip to Sacramento. My wife has never been to Sacramento in her life. There was none at all while we were there. The valets took very careful care of our cars and luggage. Although the hotel was fully booked, our checking was simple. Despite the fact that our room was still unreachable due to room change, we took advantage of the opportunity to stroll through historic Sacramento and have a drink. We wanted to be very welcome towards and in particular to the registration clerk. She was back working again today at checkout, with a nice grin and a cheerful smile I inquired about that and she replied that it was supposed to be her day off, not wanting to leave her manager shorthanded,which is exactly the type of employee I seek. Our suite on the one floor with a view of the river was great. This was a real treat for my wife who hasnt been around in a while. There was a baseball game on Saturday night, so there were fireworks on the opposite side of the Sacramento River for dinner. We walked to the riverfront this morning and enjoyed a tasty breakfast followed by a walk along the riverfront. Very interesting. My wife has worked for conferences and meetings at a number of colleges. On our way back home
