This hotel is located near the north entrance of the airforce academy and close to Palm Lake. The room was spacious and large. The breakfast was delicious and the only thing I don't like about this hotel is that they didn't have the hot tub open like they used to during my previous stay. All in all a very good hotel in north colorado springs.

In October, we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Due to a local event, prices have been considerably raised, and I believe the hotel is quite busy. The location is ideal, but take note that there is construction on one side of the structure. They have a great fire pit outside! I liked this. Be aware that a hot tub is no longer available. Everyone in the roomslobby is nice and on target. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Three of us and two sets of towels. At the front desk, I requested another bath towel. I was told that housekeeping was locked the room, but they were not. I was told that housekeeping had none, so I needed to find out if anyone from the housekeeping was still in the building and if I found someone carrying a cart, they could give me a towel. Actually? I did travel up and down the halls of three floors for fifteen minutes until I came upon a towel. It is not the best way to do it. Even by couture standards, breakfast was awful. Cold eggs day 1, no coffee for about 15 minutes day 2. 2 days in a row, the same exact bad hot selection. A local restaurant has no help from the front desk. We weren't picky, she wished she had known if a local, non-chain eatery for supper, which was at a $15 drive away.

Lets talk about the positive. The personnel was fantastic. I cant express how fantastic the personnel I encountered were. And the view is breathtaking. That is the only reason my rating is less than a. When I arrived, none of my requests were fulfilled by my Marriott precheckin. This hotel requires serious upkeep. To put it mildly, the elevator is unsettling. When it begins or stops, it swayes and shakes. The railing holds the back panels in place and is lose. There are screws protruding out. Nearly half of the hall lamp covers are damaged. The rest are discolored. Use the patio for fire pits. The door is broken. With a door stop or a chair, you can open it without allowing insects in. I dont believe the pool has been cleaned in a while. Algae was found at the stairs and every edge of the pool. I was wondering what other dirty stuff that I wasnt seeing was anywhere else. Before you give your pat thank you, well report it. Everything is on order, which was my excuse this morning, there are some practical solutions that you can do. For example, clean the pool. Screw in the elevator. 5. We werent informed that there is no service to your room. In other words, you do not receive new towels. No making a bed. No trash refresh. In case we had
