We stayed one night at the Hilton Gardens and it was infested with ants. They were alI over my son’s back pack and all the over the bed. So needless to say we left! I was very iffy about a motel and I’m very picky on where I stay but when I looked up places to stay this came up and it was rated 9.8 so when I started to read the ratings they were all good! Felt very comfortable and safe the moment we walked in our room it smelt very clean and the room was spotless! I highly recommend FarOut Motel!

We weren’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We really Liked the retro decor. Rooms were clean and the area was very quiet. We would definitely recommend this motel.

Very nice room and had great amenities. They have a laundry room, kitchen, grill, and even pans to use if you choose to cook. It’s close to Downtown!

A little bit off the beaten path, the entrance to motel was outdated, yet the room was very clean, super firm bed, nice air conditioning.

While the rooms were a little tight it was a great start in a clean room. Very easy check in and out. When I needed something the staff helped with a smile. Would definitely recommend and will probably stay again.

This is a great boutique hotel in the heart of Starkville. Very close to the Mississippi State Campus and perfect for our overnight stay. The room was spotless, the foam mattresses were comfy, and we had everything we needed (including a large-screen TV to watch World Cup games). We were in a double Queen with a kitchenette and a small table. Plenty of room and well laid out. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the air freshener, which was a little on the strong side and not necessary.

It’s a gem of a hotel!! The rooms have all been renovated. The beds are comfy and the air conditioner was amazingly chilly for a hot MS day. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying there again,

We needed a room in Starkville for a funeral. I’m a Hilton Honors member, but even the basic rooms were $150-$175. I’m so grateful I found Far Out on AirBnb. The room was great and even so cute with the Johnny Cash theme (we were in Room 22). I wish we could’ve spent more time in the courtyard/outdoor patio space, but it was rainy. A totally clean and safe stay with some personality for $90. Would absolutely book again.
