I would recommend this hotel lodge. We stayed here on our road trip and we didn't know what to expect because we were travelling with our small dog and we needed something pet-friendly. It was a wonderful place. Very clean, the bed was cozy, and the linen was very nice. I didn't want to leave. Very rustic, but everything you need.

The price is very expensive but I don't mind the small size. I can't think of a bigger place to stay. The room decor was so cute and very in a cabin style, the spa product was nice and the room was clean. Nevertheless, I'm close to kaneateles. No continental breakfast included.

The rooms do not have a refrigerator. The back deck is very pleasant to sit on in good weather. The huge room would be a nice place for family friends and to gather for meals if you wanted to have food delivered or brought from home. Just stayed here last Saturday in a 1 king bed deck access room for $300 total. The room is beautifully decorated in the Adirondack manner. There are two nightstands and a cozy heatertove. The bathroom is very cozy but small. The toilet is owned by Moody and has shampoo and conditioner. There is a great room to which you have access. Inside is a sofa, large wood table. We used a refrigerator in this place because the rooms did not have refrigerators and coffee. For $300 per night, fridges are necessary. In a pleasant weather, the back deck must be pleasant to relax on. It was wonderful when we had dinner reservations across the street from Rosaries China.

We would happily return to this place. Our family stayed in the adirondeck suite and had a great weekend there. The place itself is a short flight of steps. There were two separate rooms with a comfortable king bed but the rollout was a little lumpy. The room was very clean and the hotel followed common procedures. There is a real fireplace which must be great in the colder months. The price was reasonable given the location, about a mile from Kaneatles main street. Try the inexpensive diner across the street for breakfast. Fast and good.

This is not your location if you are looking for a 5-star resort. However, this is the place to be if you were looking for a spotless, adorable, and cozy lodging. This motel has a charming and rustic vibe. All of the furniture in the room has the same appearance, and the bed is constructed from willow trees. Do you feel like you are in a cabin away from the north? Although tiny, the bathroom performs its function. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we ever return to Kaneateles. It was a wonderful time.
