Spacious rooms, near the moonstone board walk. Nice ocean views directly from hotel window. Lovely place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying here on our trip from Santa Barbara to Big Sur. It was such a sweet location- directly across from Moonstone Beach. The beach was gorgeous, huge waves, driftwood structures, perfect for an afternoon siesta. We loved the proximity to the sounds of the ocean- especially while sitting by the fire circle (which was malfunctioning a bit!) on the property! The inn is in close walking distance to a nice restaurant & a great wine bar. We had a blast & moonstone beach was a highlight of our trip. Oh, and the room was nice & clean! Parking a breeze.

We had an ocean front room and the view was stunning. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This will be my first option for future Cambria stays!

The room was great. The fireplace, sitting area and location made the experience fantastic. The view was awesome. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. Parking was plentiful.

While driving up the PCH, my husband and I decided to take a bit more time and needed a place to spend the night. We chose the Fogcatcher Inn based on the reviews and were glad we did. They messaged us with additional information immediately after I made the reservation, so I was impressed with the communication. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were both very comfortable. We opened the windows and slept to the sound of the Pacific and enjoyed the cool air. We absolutely loved our stay and would have gladly stayed longer had our plans allowed.

We loved our room with the windows overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect place to sit and relax. It was a large room so plenty of space to spread out. We loved the alcove with the coffee station, microwave and refrigerator. I know it’s difficult with the ocean weather and individual pane windows, but it would have been nice to have those a little cleaner so you could see out better

This is a charming hotel right across the road from the beach. Rooms are clean and well appointed. My favorite part is the wooden walking path along the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was amazing and made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. We slept so well every night. We loved the room and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It had a very relaxed, laid-back vibe that made our stay even more enjoyable. David was especially friendly and welcoming, and the rest of the staff were just as kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent location, room was good and clean; but nothing outstanding. This location had zero cell service and you are dependent on the hotel WiFi - which is itself a little iffy, but it works. Otherwise, a nice little place to stay.
