We belong to a group of families that have come here once a year for the past ten years. It was a little tough in 2021 for the obvious reason, but this is one of the most consistently beautiful hotel stays we have had. Thank you for the fantastic service, the friendly staff, the excellent food, the fantastic rooms, the beautiful property, and all the wonderful memories our family has from this place.

This place was chosen since it was close to Leland and we could have accommodation right next to each other for our family christmas. Christmas was approaching, but we were able to find this. The front desk lobby was an excellent checkin spot, and the personnel was quite helpful. Beautiful holiday décor and a warm welcome. However, our villa was a little challenging to locate because there was no sign for the structure. We had connecting accommodations. One that was the size of a typical studio hotel, but with a coffee station and a lanaipatio. The suite with onebedroom bedrooms, dining, living, and kitchen, was excellent, with a complete kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, and refrigerator. Plates and silverware, and any other necessities you needed for dining in, which we frequently did. All of the rooms had patios. Excellent room service, and the breakfast burrito was a hit! We enjoyed our food every day. Christmas Eve supper was fantastic. We only had one hiccup when making our dinner reservation, but it was resolved by istatkowski. I cannot express how wonderful the setting is.

The staff at this place were very caring, especially Julia Short, who gave me a special welcome, such as the dinos, treats, and other unique toys. The condition of this hotel is very beautiful, and the room and the fireplace were really great.

They provided a hotel bathroom with two full bathrooms even though the location was very quiet, and the staff was kind and friendly when we ask them to repair our room, plus the condition of the room was not good and the room was spacious and comfy too. They provide a shower too, but they don't provide a shower in the room. When they gave the room to their guests, they didn't clean the room and they told us if it was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. No spa or dining room. They have a spa.

Best in San Diego area. Seemed or seemed like a great place for a short stay, but when we checked into our room it was pretty average. Kinda small, average furnishings, no water, snacks or anything really that makes a resort special or makes you feel special. Worse, the room we first got backed to a busy and noisy street with the only view of any kind, some power poles and lines. In fact, I believe that is the case for many of the resort structures. After complaining, they did move us to a different and much better location room, but we had to come back to backup, pickup, and move. Also, the highly praised restaurant served a rare purple inside steak sandwich and a really good soup, but without bread or crackers. My wife asked for some bread, it took about 15 minutes, the soup was mostly gone and cold, it was burnt and they charged $15. On the positive side, the staff was very warm, helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and the very close five minutes expensive golf course was great.
