The place is quaint and centrally located. You can walk to all the cute boutiques. It is clean and updated.

Absolutely stunning. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed quirky and beautiful. The rooms were so comfortable and the whole hotel was a dream.

The shower had a fold down bench which was nice for a Senior but having the separate hand held shower head mounted next to the seat was awkward. There was also a shower head on the opposite wall. The pool and hot tub area was closed at dusk which was disappointing. Also, at 10:30 am the breakfast was cold considering service was available until 11 am. The coffee at that time was cold. The waitress was helpful but the coffee was bad. Our room was in the new wing and it was beautifully appointed.

Girls trip to your beautiful town and hotel. This was my 2nd visit and was very happy. Our room was so comfortable and love the balcony. Stopped in the bar for a nightcap and walked away saying “he’s the best bartender” (Thanks for all the laughs). I highly recommend the historic hotel. I’m looking forward to my next visit!!

I was there for work got a king bed and it was very comfortable. What little staff interaction I had was pleasant and I found the town charming. The hotel is definitely the best place to stay but the restaurant…the shrimp and grits was not what I expected at the price I paid and how uncomplicated the dish is. Coda talking to you- step up your game. It’s either that or play your A game every day because I did not get your A game.

Its location is ideal—right in the heart of Apalachicola, making it easy to explore everything the town has to offer. The bar is warm and inviting, a great spot to relax after a day out, and the staff truly make the experience special. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, atmosphere, and exceptional service, The Gibson Inn is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!
