We loved the Gibson. The cast iron claw tub was my absolute favorite. The peacocks everywhere were the best touch. Cannot wait to stay again!

We liked the historical feel of the hotel combined with clean, really upscale new rooms in the addition. The pool was nice to have as an option to the beach at St. George. The bar and the Franklin cafe were excellent for dinner. It was also in the heart of Apalachicola. Definitely recommend!

The new pool is just wonderful and hot tub too. The rooms aren't giant but they are comfortable. We are happy our dog can come but the $100 fee is pretty high. There is no elevator so it would have been nice if a staff member could help us seniors with luggage. We like the history of the inn. Breakfast buffet on Sunday was nice.

This is a classic historic Inn extremely well-maintained with super friendly staff. You’ll love sitting on the veranda, having cocktails or dinner. The food’s quite good. The bar is delightful. I love the hardwood floors throughout even in the adjacent buildings which were part of the initial compound of the original owner back in the 1800s. Everything in Apalachicola is walkable and it’s a cute little town, especially if you like seafood.

The Inn was a wonderful surprise. Updated, clean with historic charms and right in the center of town. Walking distance to dining, shops and the wharf. They had a lovely pool and our room was lovely. The dining (breakfast) experience could have been better, but the bar was fun for an evening nightcap. Bonus: great oyster bar right across the street!

We stayed in this Buckhouse suite so accommodating and cute. Not like your typical hotel room. Town is amazing. We were right in the middle of town at the Gibson so we parked our car. Spent the next two days exploring the town so cute and quaint and just the kind of disconnect we needed for our anniversary.

Our room was very clean. Loved the "old" Victorian decor! Bed was super comfy. Shower has 2 shower heads, fits 2 people, marble floor, and gold fixtures! Staff was friendly and nice. The pool was beautiful but we didnt swim. Also has a gorgeous bar, pool room to shoot pool - with original wood floors, all decorated in old Florida Victorian style. They do not offer complimentary water in the room but they do offer it for $8 a bottle, $5 for snacks.
