Breakfast was great. everything else was fine. only disappointment was the trains that traveled thru middle of the night. like 4 of them the tracks are literally 100 foot from the INN

An old railroad hotel, the Inn gives a turn of the century vibe. The many antiques and decorations maintain the feeling wherever you go, even as you walk about the property. The owners are friendly and available to assist with ideas for dinner or nearby activities. I have to admit, the trains running by at night were unexpected, but, it's a railroad hotel. And we quickly acclimated to it. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

It was super clean and the atmosphere was amazing! They were very accommodating and kind! The area around the Inn is nearly as beautiful as the Inn itself! Unfortunately we had to leave a little too early for breakfast, which is served at 8:30 if that info helps anyone! Overall, we had a short but lovely stay at the Grand Victorian Inn!

My wife and I just completed a two night stay at the Grand Victorian Inn. If we were so inclined, we could have spent the entire time looking at the furnishings, pictures, collectibles, etc.. It is lovely property and the warmth of its proprietors, Karin & Gary, make it quite homey. The breakfast is quite impressive and the pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs could not have been better. The property is only a short car ride from Mammoth Cave National Park, which was the principal reason we were in the area. Guests should understand that this is a historic property with incredible charm, but also comes with limitations. That being said we had a most enjoyable visit.

Karin and Gary and the rest of the staff were so sweet. They gave us and the other guests so much personal attention. The breakfast is homemade and brought out to you, and you can just feel the love. The Inn took us back in time, neat place. We would stay again for sure.

It was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again. The staff was lovely. The breakfast was great. The rooms so clean. My husband is a train buff, so he loved seeing the trains go by. Very relaxing sitting on porch and sipping our coffee in the am, before heading to the caves. It would be a great place for a bridal shower or other small event. Thanks for the memories.

This was like stepping back in time and a breath of fresh air. I frequently tour old victorian homes and museums so when the opportunity arose for us to stay in this Victorian Inn, I was all in! What a beautiful place. I know others find the train disruptive, but we loved it. Didnt hear it past 9pm and we stayed in Suite Joy up front. Need was great, room decorated well, and all around the house. Kitchen area was awesome too. The true highlight of our stay was the staff member who prepared our breakfast. One of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!

What a lovely stay. Hosts were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed looking at all of the antiques and hearing about the history of the building.
