10/10, paid $98. Staff were polite and professional, my room had a full kitchen - stove, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, sink, everything. Room had a living room and bedroom, bedroom had its own tv as did the living room. If I’m ever needing to spend the night in the Des Moines area, I will absolutely come back here.

Suite unit nicely appointed, staff very friendly & helpful. Management assisted in arranging a longer-term stay at a reasonable rate. New equipment in exercise room. Nice breakfast includes hot entrees (e.g. sausage, eggs, biscuits/gravy). Quiet & convenient location. Nicest hotel overall we've stayed in for quite a while!

The room layout was exceptional, loved that the bedroom was its own separate room. The staff was outstanding! They were all very friendly and wonderfully helpful I would not hesitate to very highly recommend this hotel to anyone, including family and friends.

Very friendly staff and nice size room. Dishes in the dishwasher were dirty and one chair in the living area was dirty. Other than that it was a great stay!

Front desk guy is so pleasant and accommodating. He knows I work nights so tried to place me in rooms that don’t have occupants nearby. That alone is extremely appreciated. The rooms here have always been spotless. I’ve stayed here several occasions for work and have never been disappointed. Excellent upkeep.

I travel for work and have stayed at a few places in Ames before staying here. Let’s just say this is the only place that has felt clean, not just looked clean. I normally don’t stay at hotels that have carpet but this place had carpeting that looked like it had just been shampooed. Excellent upkeep in function and appearance from maintenance/mgmt. Guy at the front desk is always welcoming and after driving for over 4hrs that’s really appreciated.
