Room was fairly amazing. Just make sure you read very well the room description before booking. We booked lakeside with pics of if overlooking the lake- but it did not overlook the lake at all (room 10) BUT aside from that, the room was amazing. Beds horribly sunken soft like boxed types of beds. But the property was gorgeous. Had a fire overlooking 4th lake and the lean to bar/grill was nice and Louis who was working there was great!! Breakfast is just cereal, bagels and yogurt. All check in is virtual and we literally did not see a soul working there aside from at the bar. Place is amazing though and relaxing. Beds could be MUCH better but the place as a whole is pretty amazing, I have stayed at 10 different hotels in old forge and inlet in the last few years, this place- best ambiance, worst beds, best just relaxing feeling to the property.

We visited on a chilly weekend in May and Great Pines provided a cozy space to relax. Our Lake View Room had a perfect view of Fourth Lake and the bed was very comfortable. The common area with a large fireplace was inviting and we spent time on the comfy couches reading and visiting with other guests. Breakfast was average. We didn't meet any staff. Definitely recommend

Great Pines is my go to place when I need to go to the Adirondack and I always make it a long weekend at the Great pines. The beautiful views and the wonderful lodge make it a great place to relax and reset even if the weather doesn't cooperate.

The lodge was very clean and nice. Great continental breakfast and tasty restaurant on the property. Also a cute little sauna we tried out. All in all a very nice place to stay.

One night stay. The room was very clean and updated and my husband really liked the outlets next to the bed as well as the echo dot in the room. The self service option was easy to navigate and the bartender at the Lean Two was very fun and personable. I highly recommend his property !!

Self check in very easy. Staff is available if needed. Property had wonderful views. Restaurant on the property was open very accommodating. Would stay again and use the out door hot sauna.

We had an excellent stay at Great Pines. Beautiful scenery right on Fourth Lake, and Snowmobile access. The only negative of this property is the unreliability of the on site restaurant. It seems to be rarely open

Great place to stay. Nice clean rooms, and cabins. Right on snowmobile trail 5. Lean-too is a nice restaurant and bar....Luis is a great bartender!
