Great location for a family vacation! It’s a block away from the nearest metro station, plenty of walkable food and stores around, a park with active events across the street. The hotel itself is beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It’s an old building, my only nitpick is the elevators can take a while during busy times, other than that it’s 5/5 stars.

Overall a really nice hotel. It’s in the heart of downtown DC which is perfect and allows for the opportunity to walk just about everywhere. The bathroom floor could’ve been cleaner when we first arrived but the room was overall clean. The tv barely worked, which for us wasn’t a probably because we were constantly out. However, if you want to wind down and watch the tv I wouldn’t recommend it, we ended up just watching shows on our phone.

Loved everything about our stay at The Hamilton! The location was great, just one block from the Metro which was very convenient and walking distance from a CVS which was helpful. My daughter and I felt very safe walking all around then area where the hotel was located. The staff was exceptional! Truly some of the friendliest people we met while in DC The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again!!

The staff was excellent. Very nice place to stay. They had a water break and the plumbing was a little off but otherwise everything was great

Had a great stay at the Hamilton Hotel. Everything was clean, the elevators worked well (it was a busy 4th weekend) so thankful for that. Very hot over 100 deg outside, happy my air conditioning worked well, the cold water in the lobby was not just nice it was necessary. I have no complaints. I would stay again, metro a block away, lot's of food choices around. Nice area up the street a few blocks, for a cool shaded walk through the "suburb". I thought it was great.

My stay was wonderful- room was clean and the air conditioning kept it really cool, the bed and pillows were comfy, and Jamie at the front desk was so helpful and uplifting! My only complaint was breakfast- we ate there two days and both days the coffee was luke warm and prices were outrageous after a service fee and gratuity. Food was good though! I highly recommend the hotel to anyone that wants a centrally located, clean, comfy hotel!

Everything about my stay was exceptional except checkin. I requested early checkin. Nothing was available, and I left my cell number in case a room was found. I spent the next hour in the lobby watching person after person check in. Finally, I returned to the desk and a room was then found for me. Kind of left a bad taste. Otherwise, everything was great. The pizza from the onsite restaurant was delicious.
