We had two rooms. Both rooms were clean. On check-out day, when we went to our room to pack our things and check out after breakfast, we found the maid cleaning out our room, disposing of personal items such as unopened jarred food in a shopping bag as well as a set of eyeglasses, which we promptly retrieved from the trash. Rooms should not be serviced until there is confirmation that guests have checked out. Otherwise, everything was in order.

I have been in this area a lot and never gave any attention to the hotel. I am moving out of my apartment that is a few miles away and did not like the look or reputation of several hotels in the area. I did book another cheaper hotel in the area. My wive was very uncomfortable with what she had heard, and possibly saw in the parking lot. When we got to our room, she really did not feel save or comfortable. I looked on Expedia and found the Hampton very close and with a good price. After we arrived at the hotel, it looked a lot better and cleaner. Check in was easy and the clerk even gave us some biscuits for our dog. The room was very nice and comfortable.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. They constantly mopping and cleaning the lobby and hallways. Breakfast was set up and restocked daily. Everything was fresh and the Breakfast area was cleaned and restocked constantly. Favorite part was the Aldi in front of the Hotel where I stocked up on snacks and water. Definitely recommend staying at this property.

Staff totally Wonderful!! Pool was fantastic. Variety of hot breakfast in the morning. Safe & very happy with the hotel! The beds were beautiful & hotel staff very very helpful & friendly. Loved the hot tub & very glad to we stayed here! For a birthday concert & was fantastic! We will be back this summer! Totally worth the trip from Upper Michigan The UP!
