I reserved this hotel at the last minute because the one we had reserved for Friday and Saturday didn't have anything available for Thursday night. I couldn't have chosen wiser. This hotel is conveniently located off the highway, close to several wonderful eateries, and is well-kept and brand new! We weren't checking in with the front desk personnel, but when we did, they welcomed us in, and we were able to quickly walk with my digital key to our room. The hotel was excellent. The only drawback I have is that my room choice faced the highway. I prefer one on the opposite side because I sleep lightly, but it didn't change much because we were exhausted when we arrived. The gym is spotless, well-equipped with weights, physball, med balls, towels, water, and weight benches. There are numerous machines and 2 tes, and they even have ear head sets for you. We didn't get the breakfast, but it appears that all their visitors require plenty of food and coffee. The am front desk employees were just as welcoming as last night. I'm satisfied with this hotel and its employees. If we ever return, I'll remain here once more. We were slightly sorry that we had to switch hotels tonight, but at least we had a great time and had a good nights' slumber. Hampton Inn Mount Joy

Our hotel recommended we go there and we were blown away! The food was fresh, flavorful, large portions and good prices. The server was really attentive and pleasant. Best chicken marsala I have ever eaten! What a gem this little place is!

After three nights in the hotel, I was asked if I would like the room to be scrubbed since I had only been there for three nights and I said yes, but the room had never been scrubbed. The elevator and moving from here to there are rather confusing, and the desk worker never elaborated. I went down to use the pool and hot tub shortly after checking in. The hot tub had 1 reliable working jet, the water was not hot, and the spa activater was halfway across the room. The pool room was also a mess, with sticky floors and trash around. So after leaving the hot tub, a maintenance man came to take over. Such a shame to book a hotel with a pool and hot tub! Breakfast was typical continental, with only 1 omelet and 1 meat selection for hot items, and only 1 waffle iron, so be prepared to wait for a waffle if busy, but that wasnt an issue for us because it wasnt busy. Also, there is construction going on at that exit, making it difficult at first how to enter the hotel. If you plan to stay here, signs on the expressway state that the exit will be closed from 96. Simply a favor and stay somewhere else!.
