Hotel is very convenient too the free shuttle that Seward has literally right across the street. Mad it easy to time the buses as they run every 30 min+-+ Not the cheapest place to stay but was still quaint and convenient. Was a little noisy from the water from above. This was the corner unit by the street. 440.00 for 2 days. Everything is also walking distance to.

This property was quaint, clean and comfortable. He bathroom and furnishings appeared brand new. And the exterior of the property was well kept and attractive. Although no view of the harbor, the up close mountain view was beautiful. Desk staff were very friendly.

Quiet and relaxing. Great if traveling without a car as is 1/2 way between train station and the downtown area. It is also right on the free shuttle route with a convenient stop, so is easy to get to Safeway grocery store at far end of town There is a fridge and microwave in the room! The front desk staff is delightful and offer free bear spray. Mount Marathon and Twin Lakes trails as well as paved trail all along Resurection Bay are all 1-2 blocks away. There is a laundrymat nearby and many restaurants within walking distance (or shuttle service).

I had no idea what I was booking and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place was clean & comfortable. It was exactly what we needed the night before boarding a cruise through Alaska. The staff was super friendly & helpful. They offered to hold our luggage while we walked about town waiting for our room. The room ended up being ready early. We took a train in from Anchorage and the only problem I had was my phone didn't have any signal at the train station and I didn't know there was a free shuttle that would take me within yards of the hotel. We endede up walking a mile to the hotel.

Clean and had all the things you really need and none of the things you don’t. People come to Seward to be outside, not hotel chic. Property was maintained and rooms are basic. I would stay again. Great location. Can walk to town.

Este hotel me encantó, su ubicación es muy accesible y céntrica, pero lejos del ruido de la ciudad, las vistas son espectaculares, tanto hacia el frente como hacia atrás, el lugar es muy acogedor, y lo mejor fue el trato amable y simpático de Mary, ella fue sumamente agradable al recibirnos, nos hizo un “upgrade” de la habitación, ya que habíamos reservado una habitación con una sola cama y nos ofreció una con dos camas que le quedaba disponible… Además, nos prestó “spray para osos” cuando fuimos a caminar al Glaciar “Exit”… ¡por suerte no lo utilizamos!)… Y además nos hizo una concesión especial con la hora del check out… La habitación cuenta con refrigeradora pequeña y con microondas, además te dan café todos los días. Lo único que podría mejorar es el calentador del baño, ya que estaba en muy mal estado y presentación, sin embargo, el calentador de la habitación sí funcionaba bien. ¡Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme ahí mismo! ¡Saludos a Mary desde Costa Rica!

Oh so sweet. Reminded me of my family’s cabin. And the nicest people managing the inn. Big hugs! For those who have brought half the closet book a first floor - didn’t see an elevator. But lugging luggage was worth it!

Free city shuttle that p/u from Alaska RR and drops off right across the street from hotel office. Our room was clean, staff was super friendly, area was walkable to restaurants about 15 minutes. Area was safe and quiet. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. No breakfast tho
