The owners are making improvements to the property. Room was very nice. The pool was like a 4 star resort with a much needed hot tube after hiking all day. Outside of the buildings need work. Staff were professional. View from the pool area awesome.

It was tough to find somewhere to stay near Monument Valley, but I was pleasantly surprised with Hat Rock Inn! The rooms were very clean, felt recently renovated, beds were comfy. Overall a quiet, simple stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Really liked this place! Mexican Hat,, pop. 24? - not a mile from the famed rock formation. Middle of nowhere. Rustic. We were the first ones in for the night (I think) but 7-8 other vehicles showed up overnight. So quiet and peaceful! Our view from our 2nd floor exterior room: beautiful San Juan River a few hundred yards away and a beautiful rock backdrop. In the morning, we caught the sunrise on the Alhambra Rock slightly to the south. Beautiful! Pool area was clean and nicely done. We did not use as it was getting cool and breezy when we got there. Room was clean. They provided two little towels for people to wipe off their motorcycles—apparently, some were using the regular washcloths for that purpose. We did notice that one of the planks on corridor on way to the room was in need of repair. No breakfast, so we planned for that.

The room was clean. The View was incredible. Staff was very helpful. Pool area was clean. The only problem may have been the gravel parking lot because we were on motorcycles but other than that it was fine. I would definitely stay there again.

Super Nähe zu Monument Valley und schöne Umgebung mit einem Pool und einem warmen Whirpool. Wir waren da 1 Nacht zu Dritt und es war super. 👍

Great location for Mexican Hat and Monument Valley. River runs at the back of the hotel. Great steak restaurant just three minutes walk up the road.

Perfect stop while passing through! The views are pretty! Especially at sunset! Clean and updated rooms! Not much in the area but a great place to sleep!

Le lieu était particulièrement génial. La piscine était super, même si il n’y avait pas de petit déjeuner, il y avait quand même du café dans les chambres. Par contre la wi-fi ne marchait pas et par rapport au prix de la chambre ça reste inacceptable.

Room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice for a day or nighttime dip. Plan your meals ahead of time as restaurants in the area are few.

The pix online made the exterior seem dumpy, but because our itinerary called for a stop here, and because the room pix looked quite inviting, we stopped. The place is really cool! The exterior is well painted, the posts along the railing are log, there is a picnic table overlooking the river and a short walk to a stunning pool overlooking the river. The rooms are well-appointed, very clean with everything new though not necessarily fancy. For example, the bathroom is vinyl flooring and a tub insert, but it's CLEAN and looks brand new, with soap/lotion/shampoo/conditioner dispensers. There is a fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig and 2 comfy chairs with an ottoman, off-white and clean. I loved wandering down to the picnic table to absorb the rapids along the river, so relaxing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
