I had a fantastic time at the resort. We chose to spend the majority of our time at the resort and did not drive around the area much. It had plenty of entertainment options for the kids. Would visit Maui again! The check-out to checkout process was a wonderful experience! I love the kid-centre activities and options!

We stayed at Grand Wailed for a week in April 2022. It was big! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked an ocean view room and were told that it was upgraded to a deluxe ocean view room. Apart from the fact that it was on ith floor, there was nothing upgraded I felt, but I don't know how a typical ocean view room would look. We went to the nearby wailed beach resort anda for brunch on a couple of days, but Grand Wailed felt better than the two. In comparison, maybe the other two have a more dramatic entrance and a beach vibe during check-in, but grand wailed would definitely beat the two others. Grand Wailed's pools and slides are much better. Some points to note the resort provides free access to cultural activities such as hula, lei making, weaving lessons, and beach yoga classes. Make sure to find out and register any events that interest you beforehand. Use beach cruiser bicycles, beach towels, etc., which are provided for free to visitors. We tried food 2 times at the resort and both were forgotten. Warning: I'm vegetarian, so my review of the food could be biased to your preferences. Our options were also limited by the restoration project that impacted the grand dining room and cafe hula. The concierge suggested a free 45-minute photoshoot with

Despite the fact that I was on the road most of the time, it didn't matter for me. Ladagna and Kaanapali are close by and can be accessed quickly and easily. My intent was to travel the Maui west coast and not be confined to a resort, so I booked a three-night trip to Maui and stayed at the Maui Bay Villas because I own a hilton timeshare. Rather than using points, I used the open season option, which was a lot less expensive than any of the other hotels on Maui's west side. While most namebrand hotels are about $600,000 a night in that region, mxv cost 280 nights total, without a resort fee. While there were limited amenities, my intent was to travel the Maui west coast rather than stay in a resort. The beach was directly across the street, and parking was free, and costco travel offered a reasonably priced rental car. The inside of the bed suite was excellent, even though there was construction going on during the day across the street. It didn't bother to me since I was mostly on the road that day.

This place is always at the top of our list in all locations in Maui. From the staff to the pools and beaches, the place is really 5 stars and the location is also beautiful. We have stayed here and have never been disappointed.

We would highly recommend this place! Lori at the beach club montage was a fantastic employee. She was so attentive and positive throughout our entire visit, making our experience genuinely enjoyable. Her upbeat attitude and friendly demeanor made us feel at ease and valued as customers. Her knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met kept us satisfied. We had a fantastic time at the beach club montage and will definitely be back the next time we visit Maui.

The resorts setting is lovely and peaceful and a welcomed departure from the other side of the island. The cabin offers a unique lodging, kind of like clamping, with lovely partial ocean views. On the downside, the bathroom was pretty terrible and decades overdue for renovation the water pressure is incredible, but the entire bathroom is flood, and the resort should hire a new chef and bartender as the food and drinks were awful. Rollaway beds are more like cots than comfortable rollaway rides at luxury resorts. We received early check-in when we arrived so we could leave our luggage before the pipiwai hike further south, which was quite crowded. Hiked the lava path at Waianapanapa state park before breakfast and in the huge waves at mama beach after, both of which we enjoyed with fewer people around due to the early hours. The resort accommodated us with a late checkout at noon, which was helpful. We had perfect weather with no rain, despite the January thunderstorm forecast. This is given four stars because it is overpriced, but compared to the other overpriced resorts we stayed at, this offered an interesting, less tourist type experience, so in my opinion it was definitely worth it despite the disadvantages! If the bathrooms are renovated and food is improved, it would be worth the price.

We had to postpone our planned anniversary trip, which was to travel with bug. The good news is that it opened the door for us to visit Maui after many years, which has been challenging for us living in florida so far away. We considered going back to wailing, but the property where we stayed on our honeymoon had many construction going on and the price was outrageous, so we avoided it. After reading about outdated accommodations, we then checked out Kapalua and settled on it. We decided to try the Weston in Kaanapali despite reading mixed reviews. We obtained the best deal for us through convoy and booked a newly renovated room in the hokupaa tower. Our package also included a daily credit, which was nice, but it was a little difficult to fully utilize because we tried our best. Overall it's a lovely property, but I remembered the wow factor when I last visited Hawaii. They immediately brought you a cold drink and flower lei when you arrived. We were unable to use the lana in the morning because the lana was a nice place to enjoy breakfast. The weston offers one free cocktail and a shuttle as part of their resort fee o adult only pools, but they did not enforce it o the beautiful fitness center but the photon bike was broken when I stopped in to go for a ride o The

I would give it five stars, but there were several items that were closed during our stay due to construction that could have been done the previous 12 months while empty due to couid? The staff was excellent and very helpful. The property and rooms were clean. The food at the restaurants was tasty. It is in a great location right on the beach with a nice long paved walking trail and it is next to the shops at wailed which offers additional dining options and of course shopping. The spa was open, but service was in one of the hotel rooms rather than the spa itself, which is odd and takes away from the full spa experience. The rooms were a good size and had a beautiful view of the ocean. It is a large resort, but not too large that you get tired walking around it or to the restaurants. We attended several events on the property while we were there and they were good with good food. As I said before, the staff was friendly, helpful and never seemed rushed. We look forward to returning.

I noticed that the room's air conditioner didn't work even though we arrived in room 8105 with a working one. The room, which we chose, was spotless. We were informed that there was a portable air conditioner inside the room and that we had no other options. Since they had to move guests from the room within one day if feasible, this problem was well-known to the staff. There also appeared to be no action being taken to solve the issue. This room should be removed from stock. The portable air conditioner is in the bedroom and is only running at 65 decibels, roughly equal to the sound of regular conversation and a vacuum. Try to sleep in a room that is too noisy or too warm. After our first night, the room we were moved to was up to common standards. All the support staff was excellent, however, some of the front desk staff were unfriendly. However, Marianne and Natalia were excellent. Every front desk employees should be fantastic. Phillip from the bell staff was also great.

We have stayed here several times, always getting the single room king bed. We love the beach access, the nearby restaurant, the grocery store and the great area. Kite is wonderful for great food and so is the whole island. Everything is just minutes away by car.

The hotel is conveniently located. The shower linens are wonderful. There are few open hours at the front desk, but that was not an issue. The pool was lovely. Request room 801 for a wonderful view from both bedrooms. You should avoid swinging your back while swimming in front of the resort, as I did on day two of our journey and getting crutches if you do so. We had a wonderful stay in a twobedroom condo here. The condo is tastefully furnished, particularly the kitchen. The bath sheets are top-notch. Although we arrived right after flooding and the carpet in our second bedroom was damp and foul-smelling, it appeared to be raining water. They promptly remedied the odor. The pool was lovely.

The beach club montage's Lori was fantastic. Lori was a pleasure to work with. Throughout our entire visit, she kept us on top of things, making our stay so enjoyable. We were treated as clients by her cheerful demeanor and upbeat demeanor. Her wisdom and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met truly made us feel welcome. The beachfront is spectacular but this building is getting old. I can tell the property keeps trying to maintain the grounds but they are getting old. Its nice to see the garden again but the actual building sees better days.

We decided to treat ourselves to an ocean view bungalow for our today stay in Hana. We did not regret it. The views and grounds were beautiful. The pool and poolside bar with ocean view were an unexpected treat. Local food options were nice, including the ranch restaurant and several food trucks at two food truck parks. There are a couple of beaches within walking distance, which was great given the crowds and parking issues.

We were on our honeymoon and, when we were there, we were eager for our trip. Little did we know it would be a disaster. When we arrived, they informed us that the restaurant and general store were closed, so there was no food or beverage available. We didn't rent a car, our intention was to enjoy and unwind at the resort before heading out to Maui via uber. Unfortunately, there was no restaurantbar or general store, so we had to uber far more than anticipated. We spent so much money, but we got little return on it. Access to the beach was the only pleasant aspect, but that is fairly standard at most resorts, and the maid service was pretty responsive and pleasant. The room was small and had a sliding glass door for the restroom. When we inquired about the honeymoon package we were supposed to receive, we were informed that they weren't aware of it and requested where we would see something like that. When I sent them the email, they apologized and said they'd get back to us. We had expected a lovely honeymoon, especially given the cost we paid and after our wedding incident. In addition, the resort could not hold our baggage, and if they did, it must be before 5 a.m. because the front desk closes, but we could leave them in the foyer and use their facilities as necessary. Very friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating, a clean room, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a nice view of the ocean from every room. Loved that beautiful parakeets visited our house a few feet away, it was a highlight for me. The bathroom would be the only thing I would change. The shower door was only a half door, so water splashed into the bathroom floor, no ac with the door closed, so it's hot and stuffy there. The opaque sliding door to the bathroom is also pretty but will wake your partner at night as they face the bed a few feet away. The light blasts through the door into their face if you need to get up and use the restroom lol. Also the bar was closed, which was a big bummer!.

The Grand Wailed exceeded my expectations for an upscale resort. The deluxe ocean view room we stayed in was generously sized, had a nice bathroom with a water closet, and a tiny bar area. Even though the house is somewhat antiquated, it is still under renovation to correct it, but it might impact your stay. This is one of the first hotels I've been to that truly earns it's resort fee by providing chairs and an umbrella for the beach. Just be sure to arrive before 9.30 a.m. if you need a spot. Throughout our stay, we had no trouble finding shaded lounge chairs by the pool. The pool itself is a real treat, and it will intrigue your kid! The on-site eateries are excellent, but they're not fantastic. However, Hump Hump was quite good for breakfast. I heartily recommend making reservations well in advance for the eateries at the nearby four seasons or the stores at Wailed, which are easily accessible on the beach path or sidewalks. Would without a doubt suggest this resort for an indulgent escape.
