I have been going there for over 25 years. The place is great. It’s quiet. It’s right off of Duval. It is a little dated, but that’s Key West as long as it’s clean and quiet and the staff is friendly couldn’t ask for a better place and very affordable.

Spectacular friendly staff. Location doesn’t get much better. Right in the middle of everything, but still quiet

AMAZING place. Super well taken care of, roo.s are spacious and beautiful A(I stayed in room 10). The staff was super helpful and Greg was a Great. Just a few blocks from the Walgreens on Duval but way from all the craziness. Adults only makes a difference for sure! Will definetly return

Great location right off duval close to the action for walkability but not picking up the late night noise, good room size/ comfortable bed/great shower pressure, and the breakfast is a nice touch - low key self serve. Don't need much more when staying in Key West unless you want a name brand hotel chain and full restaurant/bar where you stay.

The Heron House was pleasant, cozy, and comfortable. The room was well furnished and clean. The A/C worked great. Kept the room comfortable. Didn't get to try the pool, but it looked clean and very well-maintained. The property was centrally located and gave easy access to many attractions in the city. The only real downside was parking, as it is not on location. Though free parking is available, you may find yourself walking several blocks to get to your room. All in all, we'd go back, though maybe during a cooler season.

Breakfast was always great, grounds were beautiful. Staff helpful, one negative was someone was smoking pot in a room next to pool, otherwise the stay was great!!!

Great staff and accommodations. Excellent location. Bed was in need of a thicker mattress and pillows. I didn’t mind it but the wife didn’t care for it. Breakfast was good but we went out to eat more than we had breakfast at the hotel. We would definitely book here again

Absolutely perfect in every way except for parking. Had to street park and it was sometimes too far for comfort.

My suite was very spacious and clean. The two air conditioners for the large room worked extremely well and I was comfortable the entire trip. All of the staff I encountered were super nice. I even had a mixup with another, similarly named hotel, and the staff here helped me clear it up right away.

The only issue with Key West is parking. The Herron House staff were excellent and if you're looking for a quaint and quiet place to stay, look no further.
