Beautiful historic property, right on Main Street of Annapolis! Room was cozy and beautifully decorated, along with the main areas of the hotel. The bed was comfy and the morning coffee, available in the lobby, was very good!

We had a fabulous stay in the Robert Johnson House--loved the location, loved the staff, loved the quiet! There was a slight leak in our room (the carpet in one small section was wet) by the third day, probably from the air conditioner working hard in the 100 degree heat, but that was the only thing shy of outstanding.

I loved the historic building- upgraded with 21stC amenities of course- like electricity and an elevator. Bed was very cozy. Bathroom window faced St. Mary's church and bedroom faced Capitol bldg. A short 2 block walk to a city owned parking garage, $24 for 24 hours. Not bad. And the restaurants all close by. I've been to Annapolis many times, but never overnight, so this was a great spot that my Lady absolutely adored!

I enjoyed my beautiful, functional, appropriately sized (i.e., small) room in the stately Maryland House. Though the street outside was bustling, the interior was quiet and peaceful. The staffers I met were lovely and helpful, and everything was tasteful. (Except the lobby coffee. That was godawful.)

We loved this hotel! It’s right on the main strip so we’re seconds away from all the shops and restaurants. It was so charming and welcoming.

Historic Inns of Annapolis has three properties; we stayed at the Calvert House. The building was lovely, and beautifully restored. The room was beautiful and spacious, although the bathroom was a little cramped. The location was unbeatable - across the street from the old Capital, and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the harbor. You are pretty much limited to valet parking, which is pretty expensive, but they were very quick in retrieving our car when we called for it.

Other than the very comfortable beds, the best thing about our stay here is the location. It's an easy 10 minutes walk to the wharf, market space, USNA, state capital, etc. The rooms were very clean and the valet staff was super fast.
