I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Stamford for one night. The hotel was spotless and modern. The breakfast was plentiful, plentiful, and freshly prepared, and I was pleasantly pleased that the coffee was excellent! We were so grateful that we were able to park in a free space right in front of the hotel rather than paying for parking. Although we had been informed about the double beds in the room when we made our reservation, it was very small. Even with only a young person around me, the bed felt too small. Queen-sized mattresses would have been preferable. Otherwise, the beds and pillows were extremely comfy. A small space was present in the restroom and shower! But everything was spotless.

The food was good, however the car park was a bit far from the hotel, and it made me uncomfortable even though I had to walk at night to get to the hotel.

It was a good motel close to the center of the city. The room was clean. The air conditioning runs slowly. The bathroom was small. Breakfast is a classic buffet. There isn't much free parking available at the hotel, only 6 slots and 1 reserved. If not, there is a parking fee at the nearby paid parking lot. Good food and slow service.
