A modern with a good position, this hotel is modern, but sadly, we had a bad experience and will not return. First, check was a mess, there was no one in the lobby, so I knocked on the office door to get to someone, and the staff member, saying nothing, walked to the desk and sarcastically put a laminated card with a bell stuck on it which I hadn't seen in front of me in response! On our arrival day, we had been sent an email for digital checking, but when receiving our room key, discovered that digital checking had assigned us a first floor room facing a different direction instead of the fairview room we had reserved and paid for. When I complained, another staff member continued to argue with me and told me it was my fault rather than taking responsibility for the mistake. The staff then told me that she was lucky that it was early enough for her to move me to a fairview room that I had already reserved and paid for and to call one day ahead next time if I wanted a specific room! The breakfast was terrible. The hot food was mostly overcooked and dried out, and the staff ominously stood by as we took breakfast. We had to clean our table first because the area was not properly maintained. One morning, a staff member dropped a large amount of plastic silverware on the floor and then,

Where do I begin? The pool's lack of heat prevented us from using it as the first letdown. It must be 76 degrees, as cold as lake water. Some of the workers were nice, some not. The housekeeping personnel performed excellent work cleaning our room every day. We had to turn off the air conditioner because it was extremely loud. Our beds were particularly hard and uncomfy. We took a walk-through shower, but you should wear swim shoes because the floors become quite slippery. The handheld shower is incredibly inconvenient. Breakfast was tasty. It served perfectly and had a nice selection of both hot and cold meals. The motel is a little dilapidated. I'm aware that it's not that old. There were trash cans littering outside. The hallways appeared to have not been vacuumed. Parking for handicapped guests is limited. We returned at 9:15 a.m. and did not have a parking area. As the motel permits visitors to park in the fireside taverns, we were unable to park. Since my friend is handicapped, I left her off at the main door and had to put the car outside where the truck parked. I will not return to this hotel.

This place is wonderful. People are friendly. The room was ready an hour before check out. Very clean. Breakfast was decent. It's probably better than decent but I'm comparing it to previous days. The view of the countryside from the room was nice to wake up to. We did not hear any noise at all at night.
