Over the new year, we had a great time. The hotel is in a terrific position. It was just a short walk from a very lovely beach and armbands circle, which has more ice cream shops than Ive ever seen in one location, and directly across from a beautiful beach. The hotel restaurant was excellent! The staff was excellent, and the food was excellent. They were without a doubt the friendliest hotel employees Ive ever seen. Every vacation, my family participates in a scavenger hunt, and the personnel assisted us in locating items on our list while playing along. Rebecca at the poolside bar was fantastic! She was incredibly kind and accommodating and helped us with our scavenger hunt. Even if it wasnt on the menu, she made whatever beverage you asked for. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, and it was really heated. The beach was excellent and had excellent water. Without a doubt, we'll return.

The holidays at the Holiday Inn Lido Beach were a lovely escape. Although the hotel may use an update, it was full of breathtaking sunsets and a wonderful view of the gulf. More welcoming and accommodating than any other hotel I've ever been to, the front desk staff was. The hotel's position is strategically located near eateries and shops, which is a wonderful sight. But it only serves breakfast, which was a bit disappointing since it would have been nice to see the sunset with dinner. They closed the pool on our last day for the next three days for repairs. However, they did provide a shuttle to the Lido Beach resort, a short distance away. Overall, it was a great vacation.

The bar personnel is wonderful. This was our first time staying at this hotel. The hotel may use some updating, but it works. We had not been there in 6 months and they still remember us, very nice. Would be nice if they had a larger menu, but I understand everyone is short of people. I will be back in the spring.

We visited this place this week with my spouse. This hotel and the lido beach resort were in a choice. We chose this because it basically had almost everything they had to offer but was significantly less expensive. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The lobby was very lovely, and when we arrived at our room, we had a wonderful view! Both the hotel and the room were clean. I was disappointed that there was no microwave and my husband had trouble with the coffee maker, but we found a microwave and free coffee in the lobby, so everything was fine. In our experience, the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. If I had any complaints, the air conditioning was extremely loud and annoying, as many reviews said. We just turned off the air conditioning and opened the balcony door at night. Its rather upscale and modern, at least along the beach. I had never seen anything that looked old-fashioned, but it was fine at this time of year. There is no market or grocery store nearby. There are many cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating, and it's a lovely place to walk around. One day, we took an uber and went to the neighboring Siesta Key, which was amazing and had a very different vibe to it. The front desk suggested instar cart as there was no instar cart.
