This hotel is in a convenient location. The personnel here were very kind. The room felt dark, and the outside roof air handlers caused some noise. Breakfast was excellent and well planned by the employee and his wife.

This hotel is good, the personnel was very nice. The room location is on a road so the noise from the neighbors can be heard, as the wall was so unisolated. Plus the food here is very tasty.

There was an incident in the city that caused the hotel and the surrounding area to be shelters in place. The front desk staff went above and beyond in keeping us informed of the situation and giving clarification if necessary. We were never in any danger and the hotel is in a very safe area. There had been an incident at the Salem Mall which is 45 blocks away. They even made us a new pot of coffee because I had wanted to go out to get a cup. The staff is fantastic and the professionalism and caring of your staff is what makes the hotel exceed all our expectations. I love the location and being able to walk a very short distance to try new restaurants and bars. Parking is covered and free.

I found this hotel when planning a family reunion that had excellent reviews, reasonable rates, and a great location. I intended to bring over 14 people together to enjoy good food and wine, but unfortunately, when I discovered that their restaurant had been nearby since the beginning of the couid nightmare, I spoke with Russell Rodriguez to find another option, he graciously suggested some nearby restaurants and even made the reservation to the one that met all of our needs. Russell is a trustworthy individual, and I'll put him at the top of everything that goes into any hotel or other business in the hospitality field!.

The grand hotel in Salem lives up to its reputation. We stayed two wonderful nights at this full-service hotel in downtown Salem. The underground garage has free parking. It could be one of the busiest structures in the city. I must commend mika Yamazaki, who works at the front desk and occasionally at reservations. She helped me secure the reservations and made sure our stay was enjoyable and smooth. She went out of her way to let me know about the weather, as the route from Salem to the bend is problematic in the winter. She warned me to carry tire chains. The hotel provided us spacious junior and suite rooms for very reasonably priced prices, plus a full buffet breakfast. We haven't seen buffet service since epidemic. A glob of silicone lining was given to me by the maintenance employee to clean a hole in my shoe. It worked well to keep my socks and toes from getting wet and cold.
