Gorgeous boutique hotel, rooms are quite small, walls are thin but did very much enjoy my stay! Staff are incredibly kind at the front desk, so helpful & lovely to speak to.

I was impressed with every part of my stay. My room, the super-helpful staff, my breakfast at the restaurant and the very handy location. I have never stayed at an a.k.a. hotel previously, but if this one is indicative of the brand, I will seek them out.

An unforgettable stay at Aka NoMad Hotel New York. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The design is absolutely stunning, every detail feels intentional, warm, and elevated without ever feeling overdone. The rooms are beautifully curated, offering a boutique feel with luxury-level comfort. The bedding was exceptional, and the overall ambiance made it easy to relax after long days in the city. Housekeeping and attention to detail were consistently top-tier. What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. It never felt forced—just authentic hospitality at its best. The location is also a huge advantage—central, convenient, and perfect for exploring multiple parts of Manhattan without hassle. Overall, this was a standout experience. Between the design, comfort, service, and location, this hotel exceeded expectations across the board. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined New York City experience.

Great location, room was perfect size for NY...who's in their room that much. We chose a room with a balcony and it was awesome. Great city views and fun! The bed was so comfortable and I love the design of the room and bathroom. The soap was amazing. Only bad part was lack of hot water in the morning. We would've called but we were in a hurry and headed out without a shower. We did take the hotel survey after and informed them of this issue and they were very responsive. We would stay here again.

Great staff, clean room but looks lived in. Stains on outdoor furniture. Stains on carpet. These things should be treated- But still somewhat felt really clean especially with modern decor. I would recommend a diffuser throughout the hotel to make it a bit more luxury. Had a bit of an old smell. Doing this would definitely make the experience more personable. Front desk staff was phenomenal but I was a bit confused with the amount of money spent here per night, door men were almost non existent. I got the door held open once lol and even times passed staff- this usually wouldn’t be something i complained about but I’ve been so used to that being the norm that when it was absent it was felt. Especially since we had so many bags. Also would be nice to send guest notice if roads will be blocked during their stay other than that good hotel - would stay again as a last min resort
