The iconic Hotel del Coronado, a Curio Collection by Hilton resort, is a National Historic Landmark built in 1888. Situated directly on California's Pacific coastline in Coronado, near San Diego, it blends Victorian architecture with modern beachfront luxury.
The resort offers 679 guestrooms across three distinct neighborhoods: classic Victorian guestrooms and suites, lively Cabanas near the sand and pool, and The Views for easy beach access. The new Shore House at The Del provides an elevated experience with exclusive amenities, including a private welcome and access to its own Pool Bar and Bistro. Guestrooms feature refrigerators, cable programming, laptop-compatible safes, coffee/tea makers, designer toiletries, and hair dryers. High-speed WiFi access is included in the resort fee.
A variety of dining options are available, including 7 restaurants like Serea, a coffee shop/cafe, and room service during limited hours. Guests can enjoy refreshing drinks at the beach bar, poolside bar, or one of three other bars/lounges. Del Beach offers bar-to-beach service with food and drink. Buffet breakfasts are served for a fee on weekdays (7:30 AM - 11:30 AM) and weekends (7:30 AM - noon). S'mores on the Beach are also offered.
The resort boasts heated outdoor pools, a private beach (Del Beach with reserved seating), and a 24-hour fitness center. The Spa at The Del offers massages, body treatments, and facials (additional charge). Recreational activities include complimentary beach yoga, surf lessons and surf camp, bicycle rentals, and seasonal offerings like movies on the beach, painting by the sea, and live music. Concierge services and babysitting (surcharge) are available.
For events, the hotel features extensive meeting and event space, including a conference center and over 65,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor venues, with up to 41 meeting rooms. A business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in are also provided.
