It was great. The sheets had a stain but they changed them immediately. The pool cabanas need to be cleaned but overall we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean but I think that this place is fairly new construction. I just had to clean the filters of the A/C ventilation system at the sink and then spray them down with Lysol as they were a little dusty. This should be done routinely by the housekeeping staff as part of their cleaning duties. My wife also suggested the bathroom shower should have handle bars as the shower floor became slippery after it got wet. Someone could slip and fall. The staff were very friendly, courteous and supportive including the front desk. We didn't get a chance to use the pool as we stayed for only 1 night. We also didn't use the bar but we did eat dinner at the ground floor restaurant called Paloma's which claimed to be inspired by Mexican, Cuban and Latino influence. Well my wife and I are Latinos and we didn't like the cooked food or the quality of the food. We have eaten at plenty of restaurants including hotel restaurants and this one did not meet the quality we expected. It was poor quality but the service was good.

Super clean and comfy, I interacted with at least 5 different front desk members and each interaction was inviting and friendly. Didn’t get to try the amenities for my short stay but the pool area looked so nice and luxurious

We had an amazing stay! Everything was very clean, which made traveling with my kids so much more enjoyable. The food options were great with something for everyone, and the overall experience was wonderful. We would definitely come back!

Hotel Lela is convenient and well maintained, but the staff were really the stars of our stay- we were welcomed warmly and each staff person we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. The double queen room is pretty spacious and even though we were facing Market St., the room was quiet and we slept like babies. I'll be staying at Hotel Lela when I'm in Wilmington going forward!

We were in an accessible room which was amazing. So much space to accommodate my wheelchair and the shower was incredible. No microwave was a negative and a sad ice machine that only dispensed about a cup of ice, disappointing. The staff was way more than nice and friendly. They were warm and genuine. I am loving this hotel.
