Value for the services rendered was equitable. The staff was welcoming and respectful (Chris and Seth). Definitely will be returning.

Nice clean hotel, basic amenities. It’s nice if you need a cheap clean place to crash for the night. The only thing I recommend they do is put a few cups and an ice bucket in the room.

I found this hotel as I was shopping for a place on WVU homecoming weekend. I understand the climate and last minute planning situation I found myself in. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices that are demanded from other places. With that in mind, this place was rough. My family rates this one as my worst hotels, yet. The king size mattress has seen better days. No real firmness to the bed. The door to the room is in need of repair. We came back at one point and found the door open. It looked like it had been forced/pried open at one time. The TV had horrible reception for $200+ a night. The location was not bad.

Our room smelled like wet dog, are room keys didn't work and we had to get them replaced just for them to not work again. The sheets were visibly dirty there were flys in our room and the man helping us check in was incompetent

I do not think the hotel costs was justified for this type of hotel. The quality of the hotel was poor.

1500 characters does not provide the adequate space to express how awful this hotel was. It reminded me of some seedy hotel you'd see in a crime documentary that was used to sell narcotics or prostitution. The image on Expedia is either the one room that has been updated in the last twenty years.... NOTHING like the rattrap my child and I were placed in.... or it merely a stock image taken offline and uploaded as if it were an actual room at this hotel. I'm serious. After only being in the room for a half hour, I returned the scan cards to the front desk and we left. I truly don't know how this hotel passes local health and safety standards? Vehicles without license plates in the parking lot. Holes in the ceilings in the rooms. No heat... it was 40 degrees in the room. The lock on the door did not function properly. Stains on the linens and towels. After leaving, checking into another hotel in the area, and completing our trip, I washed EVERYTHING we owned upon returning home... even the suit cases themselves. Hands down... the WORST hotel we have ever been in... and we travel quite regularly.

Hotel M, where the M stands for Murder. Absolutely horrifying experience. I’m sure someone died in the room we stayed in. There were blood stains on the walls. I don’t want to identify the stains on the bedding, but I’m sure it involved a snuff film. The police definitely kicked in the door at some point because it didn’t close all the way, which was actually fine because the room smelled so badly we needed the fresh air. I was going to sleep in the bath tub but it was almost dirtier than the bed. But the hotel did have bedbug protectors on the mattresses so I have to applaud them on that.

Who would even sponsor or even recommend this place?? Words cannot describe the most undesirable awful dump .. this place is beyond unsanitary..and would not even meet anyone’s lowest expectations . I had to put a towel on fooorbin shower Wear shoes and still got a rash and eye infection- that my dr said came from a dirty towel.. beware.. don’t try save a buck , as I did this one time… it was not worth the infection, and zerrrro sleep!! Pay the extra dollars.. this place should be condemned Disgusting

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER OPTION. If I could give negative stars, I would. We stayed here during a WVU game weekend when rates were well over $500 per night — we didn’t expect luxury, but this was terrible. While the staff was friendly, they should be ashamed to charge over 200% more than the normal $50–$60 nightly rate — we paid $250. Keep it to $125 so people know what they are getting into!!! The photos online are completely misleading and must be from when the hotel first opened. The mirror was held together with duct tape, there were cigarette burns on the blankets, the door knob was broken, and none of the lamps worked (we had to use the bathroom light), I could certainly go on. We ended up driving to Walmart to buy our own linens. Bottom line: Do not stay here unless you have no other choice.

This hotel should be taken off Expedia immediately. I trust Expedia to recommend safe and clean hotels and this was neither. Roach on the door, sticky floors, outlet covers hanging off the walls and in an unsafe area. It is almost as if people were living there..I was alone and had to figure out what to do because I could not stay in such a place.

I sent a review through the email sent. Just not a nice hotel for $217 a night.

The room did not have an intact latch lock. The air conditioner was broken and falling apart. There were only two pillow shams and no pillows with sheets. We had to change rooms because the first backed up to trees and looked unsafe. We asked for a front room that was well lit. The curtain was falling off and this was a “refurbished “ room the front desk said. The price of $250 definitely did not match the quality of room or amenities. There were none.

The room was not clean at all. Floor and walls were filthy and furniture and light fixtures were dirty and in bad condition. We had stayed here about 5 years ago and knew it wasnt fancy but it is much worse now.
