The room was clean when we arrived. The grounds are very pretty and manicured. Upon arrival we were told about a community festival with good local food, arts & crafts and wonderful Hawaiian music with traditional hula dancers. We were disappointed about the restaurant being closed but found lots of local options and took advantage of the well stocked kitchenette in our room for breakfasts.

This hotel is very charming and old-fashioned in the best way. The rooms are spacious and modern, but the outside look and feel of the hotel is very quaint. The extremely helpful young woman at the front desk seemed to know everything about the island and was able to answer every question we asked. We were busy while we were there, so we didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. We did use the laundry facilities (laundry detergent is available in the vending machine). Our room had a large bathroom (sink outside of the toilet/showr room but still separated from the bedroom), refrigerator, microwave, coffee set up, and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The property is well maintained and quiet (well, except for the chickens, but they didn't really bother us and can be heard anywhere, any time in HI). We didn't have great cell service, but I realized too late that the hotel offers free calls to anywhere in the US, which is cool. The restaurant is closed, which is a shame, because it looks like it would be fun, and we would have liked an additional dining option. We would definitely stay here again if we have the good fortune to return to Molokai!

Clean and functional room, although not luxurious. A terrific view from upper unit. Minimal amenities (no restaurant on site but a new one is in the plans for summer 2026). The property evokes “Old Hawaii” nostalgia and vibes. It’s the only hotel on the island.

While it wasn't the fastest wifi, it let me watch YouTube with ease. But besides that, I wasn't there for fast internet. There's a whole beautiful island to explore. Room was very clean, A/C was a window type unit and not overpowering you with cold air. It did the job it was intended for and so the room was comfortable.

I love this beautiful place by the water. We were disappointed the inviting hammocks stretched to the ground. I prefer a hand held shower head. The A/C needs to be cleaned often or the mold affects my hubby. The left burner on the stovetop didn’t work. Unit was CLEAN, cute, comfortable & functional. The service was great & helpful. I will return!!!

This was just the weekend of relaxation I needed!! The staff were very friendly, and the property itself was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The room was perfect, and the beds were beyond comfortable!! Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The king bedroom we stayed in was spacious and had full kitchen utensils, pots, pans, microwave, fridge for making simple meals. Our room was # 215, an upstairs room which has a nice view of a garden area from the outside lanai area; and a bit of the ocean view. Across the ocean we could see Lanai island in the distance. The staff was also very friendly. Close to the small town area (5mins by car); 20 minutes from the airport. We would stay here again when coming to Moloka’i in the future.
