What a great place to stay! By far the best hotel we have stayed at in quite some time. Hotel staff were amazing and the room was clean and quiet with great views of Big Spring.

This is a gem in the middle of Southwest Texas. It is worth it to plan your trip so that you can spend at least one night at the hotel. It has been beautifully restored and the rooms are very comfortable.

Grew up in Howard County- knew some of the history of the Settles and wanted to at least experience its return to its former glory. I was not disappointed. It was a wonderful time with family, JoVanna was excellent in providing the venue and meal for a relaxing visit with family. Employees were very helpful and our rooms were great. Thanks very much

Very nice, clean.& spacious room. Lovely walk in shower with bench alongside a big tub. Huge closet & dressing area. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

The entire experience was amazing! My kids stayed with me and they thought they were in another country 🤣 the decor was timeless, the rooms were elegant and the pool and hot tub were immaculate! The staff was very helpful with the towels and cabanas - the cabanas ❤️- and the food at the grill was on point! Thank you for hosting us during this time! - Arelle

Staff was amazing and did everything they could to make the stay wonderful. For whatever reason Hotels.com did not get the reservation information through their third party to the Hotel Settles for the first room (booked two rooms). So upon arrival Hotel Settles did NOT have a reservation for one room but the staff worked hard to make it work for us and were very congenial when most places would have not and would have said sorry you are out of luck. However, the Hotel Settles did not turn us away but worked to make sure we had two rooms for our stay during a very busy rodeo weekend. Also the pool man brought out floaties and toys for our grandchildren. Excellent time !

We loved the historic story and charm of the property. Our Parlor Suite was spacious and well-appointed. The pool area was lovely. Restaurant was fine but certainly not over the top great. We will certainly be back!

This is my go to place to stay when making a pit stop between Big Bend and Dallas. The staff has always been friendly. The hotel is beautifully restored. The beds are comfortable. I'm sure I'll be here again.

The staff was amazing! The pool and hot tub were so nice, our grandkids had a blast, the bar was so nice and the bar food was delicious. We will definitely stay there again!
