The staff is very friendly & amazing. Our room was nice & clean. The water pressure could use some work, but I believe they’re working on that issue. It was a great location, the deli & bar next door were very handy. Super walkable to the subway, Times Square & all the broadway shows. I’d stay here again.

Localização espetacular! Muito perto de tudo. O quarto é simples, mas tem um bom tamanho e estava extremamente limpo. Recomendo!

The staff at Hotel St. James were amazing and incredibly accommodating. Although the room was small, it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to stay. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit to New York City.

Room was impeccably clean and honestly much larger than I was expecting. Bedroom was a good size and bathroom was larger than mine at home so I was impressed! I was on an upper floor so the shower water takes a few minutes to warm up but it wasn't a problem once I figured it out. Could have benefited from a small table or shelf in the bathroom due to the vintage scalloped sink (albeit cool looking!) not providing counter space but I was able to make it work. There was a luggage rack and extra blanket in the closet, hair dryer in the bathroom and soap and shampoo in the shower. I mention it here bc the amenities I don't believe are listed on the website. Oh! The pillows were so fluffy! Would recommend for nice place and location on a budget!

Best value in lodging i’ve ever had in a half century of visiting New York. It’s cozy and the vibe is relaxed. The room was spotless. It’s location for a Broadway hound is perfect. The staff politely helped with anything I asked. I’ve found a small gem and intend to stay there on all future visits.

Room was really comfortable and clean. The AC and water pressure were both excellent. Room was fairly small but was perfect for our needs. I appreciated the vinyl floors rather than having carpet. Nice lobby area and was able to store luggage after check out. It was also a great location, super close to everything but couldn’t hear anything from the street in our room. Nothing fancy, but was the perfect place to sleep.

The Hotel St.James is very conveniently located in NYC. It’s an older hotel with a lot of charm. Small room and no mini frig or microwave. Just the basics. Price was right for me. And location.
