Quaint, charming hotel with a lot of character. Comfortable size room and bathroom. Excellent location, plenty places to eat nearby, including a nice Italian restaurant in the lobby. Public parking across the street. Perfect for what we needed.

A great old hotel. The hotel is 100 years old and the elevator requires someone from the hotel to operate it. Just like the old days. There is a restaurant and we had dinner there. It was very good.

The room was neat and the bathroom really surprised me it was beautiful. The property was old but the only way you could tell was the elevator and keys. Outside of that the interior was nice and the onsite restaurant looked nice. Will definitely stay again.

Loved Hotel St. Michel! In the middle of downtown Coral Gables! The room was small but exquisitely designed, decorated and appointed. Beautiful super clean bathroom! From the marble mosaic floors and marble walls to the vanity sink, lights and mirror, and the bathroom fixtures and grooming all curated to perfection! Great morning coffee! Loved the Japanese touches too! Black and white palette, old world elegance in an architectural jewel! A true gem! Business, shopping all nearby! Wined and Dined at Zucca! on the ground floor one of the best Italian restaurants in Miami!

Small boutique Hotel in a great location. There is a vintage elevator and some stairs to maneuver around , but if you like vintage its wonderful. My only issue woukd be parking, you basically have to street park as there is no hotel parking and being a lively area of the Gables you have to deal with meters, which you have to remember to pay for in AM when you wake up, or you get a ticket. If these things are not an issue I would recommend this hotel if you like boutique spots. Cheers

The property its in the middle of coral gables walk to everything full off restaurants of every different foods ,bars and more.The hotel has one the best restaurants you could eat Zucca. The rooms are spacious and very well keep love the staff very welcoming and the entire place smells awesome would do it again soon

This is a historic landmark. Keep this in mind when you arrive and experience the location in its "dated" condition. That being said, I chose this location specifically for that reason, and it was a lovely experience. The staff was polite and welcoming, very informed, very knowledgeable, and professional. I appreciate that they even went so far as to advise us of the weather conditions when checking out to ensure we had a pleasant experience. They owed us no such obligation and yet still took the time to mention it. Additionally, they had someone help us to our room in their antique elevator system, which was a teleporting experience to live. Loved it. They offered ice water and tea at the front as well to refresh yourself upon entry. The building itself is a treasure, and being in the center of Coral Gables was a massive bonus. The parking is extremely practical, however, we were visiting on 4th of July weekend, so perhaps that was why the parking was so simple. You have the option of a garage literally across the street, or readily available street parking. Yes, you must pay to park at both, so take your pick. The room was excellent, large, King sized indeed. We loved the French style windows that we opened and closed several times like kids under some whimsical spell. Everything looked, felt, and smelled clean. The bathroom was equally elegant, nothing large, but the goal is not to spend the trip in the bathroom. Air conditioning = perfect. Restaurants = on site.

Staff were excellent and ery accommodating. Front desk gentleman in 7/5/26 was very helpful with recommendations. Our front staff lady on 7/4/26 was also very kind and we were able to do an early check-in.

Staff is bi-lingual; helpful thru the language barrier but English spoken throughout. Parking restrictions abound on the streets around hotel. We used parking garage across the street which was privately owned Garage employees were helpful when paying at exit when credit card reader failed to open the gate to exit. Perhaps my fault by entering the card wrongfully. Personnel were quick to assist. Garage maintenance personnel deserve extra credit for their quick assist. Breakfast was elegant but expensive. The restaurant food and service were exceptional. This restaurant caters to the wealthy, not hotel guests, and has an Italian menu. European ambiance and menu items.
