Great, comfortable super clean room. Conveniently located at my daughter’s university; I’ll definitely come back. My only request: improve coffee it was awful. Maybe it’s just me and my family but it’s worth checking.

It was a very nice place to stay. My son was there for percussion camp and staying here made it a breeze for me check up on him. The campus is beautiful.

Helpful front desk! We arrived at 2:00am due to flight delay but had no issue. Checkin was quick. Only confusing thing was the driving direction. Don't use the hotel address. Call the front desk and they will give you the address to the garage which links to the front desk.

One of the major things we look for in a hotel is safety, and we knew that staying on a college campus would be a nice safe place, and it was. We had a great view, the breakfast was definitely above what you usually get - we are vegan and there were actually things we could eat and even oat milk creamer. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was great. Parking was $6/day, which is very reasonable. The only negatives were one, it was a little hard to figure out how to get to the parking at first, and two, the hallway from the parking lot to the building (which contains the hotel, UMass store, and some other cafes etc.) smelled disgusting, like spoiled yogurt. There wasn't any visible mess, and the second day it smelled a little better, then the third day it had a different terrible smell. Hopefully they get that worked out.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel UMass on a recent visit to the town. Milan at the front desk was kind and helpful. Great price, very quiet, nice room. My only suggestion is to send an email confirming reservations a day before that includes specific directions of how to get to the hotel and front desk. We spent quite a bit of time driving around the campus. Thank you!

Staff went above and beyond to help us find our way around campus. The gluten free bagels and bread in the morning were really good! The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and the toiletries provided were very helpful as I forgot my toothbrush and make-up remover. Wide array of TV channels and easy to navigate TV. Great information provided in a binder of the amenities, restaurants, and surrounding area. So convenient for a parent with a teenager attending college or summer pre-college course at UMass. Would highly recommend!
