I appreciate the very accommodating staff at hotel 21 nyc for making my stay so enjoyable. Extremely kind people who work here. He noticed that i was out of town and gave us a room with dazzling views. Very clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Nicely sized tv with everything you want on the tube. Bathrooms are also very clean and modern. The only thing that was difficult was finding parking, if you were driving in. Had to park nearly 3.5 miles from the hotel! But that is the problem of the city. If you are staying here, mass transit is advised. For the price, you wont find much better in new york city than this.4.6/526 Jan 2024

I stayed there on friday night. The location is ideal. It is across the street from the f train and two bus stops. Although tiny, the rooms are clean. Staff was welcoming. Please note that a $60 cash deposit is required for lodging. I dont know why this is, but it is their policy. Kindly confirm how many nights you are booking because you may return to your room without obtaining id key and all of your belongings have been removed leaving you without any room. Apart from these issues, its undoubtedly suitable for solitary travelers or perhaps if you just want to sleep with gangs. Again, rooms dorms are smaller than those at college.4.6/518 Jan 2024

Positives i found the first room to be clean overall. The hotel is conveniently located in new york city. At night, the front desk staff member is easily reachable. Wifi works very well. In the second room we had, there was a bad smell in our first bedroom. We had to switch rooms for the next night because the cc didnt work in the previous room that we were in. Second room bathroom wasnt very clean, we found hair in shower. Room cleaning is not done daily.4.6/519 Feb 2023

Overall, this hotel is not a bad one. The room was reasonably clean and had tv facilities, which was pleasantly surprising. Bed and pillows felt like there was plastic covering underneath, making it shaky at times and making getting into bed very noisy. Its odd that the hotel requires remuneration of $60 in cash, so be prepared for that. They also made it pretty clear that if you lose your room key or check out late, you will lose the deposit. I didnt want to cause any problems, therefore i followed their instructions. My experience at the front desk was pleasant, but again, it depends on who is there. Otherwise, surprisingly, the motel is fairly new. All modern and modern. Hardwood floors in the room and nice tile in shower. Water pressure was strong and hot.The heater worked perfectly. Other amenities include an ice machine and essentially the subway station across the street,which was very convenient. No free breakfast due to covid. You can get to Manhattan in 10 minutes by taking the subway, which is only ten steps away from the front door. Overall, very decent for the price. The location is quite convenient, with the F line at the front door getting you everywhere in Manhattan quickly. Although not particularly spectacular, the neighborhood itself is nothing special. While not fast, staff members are friendly and accommodating. We made three reservations for different rooms during our extended stay, which were the best prices possible, and we were able to get a new room right away when we checked out the previous one. There was enough cleanliness in the rooms. Even though the room wasnt cleaned while we stayed there, it was still clean. It wasn't rated highly enough, but it met our needs perfectly for its price and location!.4.2/526 Sep 2023

This hotel was a hidden gem. A friend recommended it based on its location, convenience, and price. I will definitely recommend it to others. It is merely barebones. My partner and i were satisfied with that because we were out most of the day and didnt need many amenities in the room. There was an extra coat closet and mini fridge. The bathroom lighting was excellent, my makeup looked great the entire trip. We were on the west side of this building on 7th floor, so we had pristine views of downtown manhattan skyline. Empire State building, Chrysler building summit 1, and summit 1 were all visible. Our second room down from the elevator shocked me by how much we couldnt hear. First, room cleaning wasnt done every day. That was perfectly fine for us because at first we werent making messes, but we did have to go get new towels. Desk staff were helpful and would grab them for you right away, just if thats something that bothers you. Second, there was heating and cooling system in our room, however, we could not set it up to be warmer than 65 degrees (18 degrees celsius. Since it was middecember, it wasn't exactly warm outside, which made it easier to have the heating go higher, although we hadnt been in4.2/53 Feb 2023
