We chose this hotel because it has a complimentary full breakfast buffet, the only one in all the Waikiki area hotels we considered. The breakfast had a very good selection of food and we loved the location - an outdoor rooftop on the third floor near the pool. There was plenty of seating. Our room, a 1 king bed ocean view premium with sofa bed, was very roomy and very pleasant. All the hotel personnel we dealt with were very nice, friendly, and helpful, from the checking in, to asking questions, to the help we got with our luggage, checking out, and getting a taxi. I only have 2 negative observations: the elevators are inadequate for that many hotel guests (had to wait awhile) which we read in other reviews. The 2nd one was that the carpet in the halls, especially around the elevator looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. After seeing that, I was surprised our room was so clean!! I would stay here again! To explain 2 later questions on this survey: we didn't buy any food at the hotel so didn't get the 20% discount, and we were offered by email an upgrade but I got the impression it would cost extra??

The rooms are spacious which is great with a family of 5. We received a room with an amazing view of diamond peak, and the beach. It was quiet in the rooms, a little hectic in the lobby area due to senior week. Having beach chairs and toys available for use was awesome. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was good. Lobby coffee for early risers unable to use in room coffee in fear of waking up their little ones isn’t available much earlier than breakfast hours which was a bummer. Having to go to the lobby for towels then back up to 3 for the pool also not convenient, especially during peak hours when you can wait a while for an elevator.

Rooms were clean, well maintained throughout our stay. We expected a little more out of breakfast but wasn't terrible. Property was also clean and very well maintained. And was extremely close to everything and was within walking distance to most everything. The only negative thing I have to say is the food from the hotel restaurant was inedible. It was horribly expensive my son's and daughter's hamburgers were Grey and almost slimy and my chicken sandwich was dry and chewy with absolutely no flavor at all. The staff did take one hamburger and the chicken sandwich off my bill. Other than that no complaints at all.

Our entire stay was great from beginning to end! Super elegant, clean and chill! Perfect if you’re traveling with kiddos. Best part it was 3 minute walk to lots of restaurants and about 9 minute walk to beach access!! It was a lovely experience and I totally recommend 😊

Everyone was helpful and the hotel was clean. I disliked that there’s a mobile dispensary next to the hotel and the check in area smelled like weed. I know some people don’t mind it but I was with my wife and 1 yr old.

The Hyatt Place provided a comfortable stay for my family of 5 while on vacation in Oahu. The rooms were clean and the daily breakfast options far exceeded my expectations! The staff is friendly and helpful. It's in a great location, literally walk straight down the street to the beach. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent house keeping! The only two elevators in the hotel can take awhile to get up and down to your floor. Somewhat rude/nonchalant front desk people. The breakfast area was always kept clean and had new options every day. The hotel pool was very tiny. Loud neighbors you can hear through the patios

Clean and comfortable room with friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and the location was convenient. Parking was expensive, but there was free parking about a 7-minute walk away. Overall, a great stay.
