There were several things to like about this hotel. It is located in Mountain Village, which is a thousand feet above the town of Telluride; tucked in an alpine glen with several other hotels, restaurants, and upscale shopping. Access to the town of Telluride is best done using the free tram which departs from a couple of points within Mountain Village, stops at the top of the hill where you can get off and hike or just take in the scenery, and then descends to the town of Telluride itself. Not having to find parking in Telluride is a big plus to me. The layout of the room was very un-hotel like; more like a small condo or VRBO. The complimentary breakfast is in the downstairs restaurant. The food was certainly above average for complimentary breakfasts and has two different featured options daily as well as more typical fare such as fruit, breads, and yogurt. In the evening the same restaurant (Siam’s Talay Grille) has some very tasty far-eastern dishes with a good selection of wines. Although expensive this hotel is a nice treat for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful vacation.

A wonderful resort with incredible mountainside views! Spacious rooms with wonderful amenities. This resort is a quick, yet beautiful ride to downtown Telluride. They offer a delicious free breakfast with many hot items and fresh fruit. The staff goes out of their way to creat a wonderful stay.

Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a bigger room and didn’t have any issues with extending our stay by a day. The staff were super nice and professional and the complimentary bottle of wine was a fun way to end the trip. The hotel is also just a few hundred feet from the Gondola, which made it easy to get to/from the town of Telluride. It would be nice if the dining area was opened up to the patio so people could sit outside for breakfast but that may have just been because of the wildfire smoke.

Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Hot tub on roof is a great plus. Close to gondola. I’ve stayed in ski season and now in Summer. The best of both seasons with this great hotel.

Our stay at Inn at Lost Creek was truly exceptional from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The valet team was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly, making the arrival process effortless. At the front desk, we were greeted with genuine smiles and outstanding hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was receiving a complimentary room upgrade. We were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful room featuring two balconies overlooking Mountain Village. As an added bonus, there was a concert taking place when we arrived, making the atmosphere even more special. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained throughout our stay. Everything worked flawlessly, and we never had to call maintenance for anything. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every staff member went above and beyond to help us, even with the smallest details. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a lasting impression on us. The rooftop hot tub was another unforgettable feature. After a day of exploring Telluride, being able to relax in the hot tub while enjoying the incredible mountain views was simply perfect. We were also traveling with our dog, Luna, and the way the staff welcomed and accommodated her made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great stay at The Inn at Lost Creek! We've stayed in many places in telluride/mountain village over the years, and I'm moving The Inn to the top of our list for future stays. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant during our stay, from the parking valets, housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant servers. Breakfast was included, which is nice, and the gondola is less than 100 yards away. We're looking forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely deserving of the reputation this place has. Many more amenities in the kitchenette than I actually expected, including a tube burner stove, top, toaster, dishes & utinsils. Rooftop hot tubs are by reservation but free and included in the hotel room rate. We had no problems getting a reservation. Also get free access to the spa and Pools at the Peaks resort.

Loved the hotel, the staff, the breakfast. Big complements to Carmine in the ski valet! My only feedback is, like every other hotel in Mountain Village, the base temperature of the hotel was way too hot. Basically have to keep a window open at all times.
