We booked this place last minute and it was a little gem hidden away. It was perfect for what we needed. The bed was super convenient and the room was very clean. I would book this place again.

Great basic room. The hotel has been completely remodeled inside and out. The location is great you can walk to downtown and the wharf. I got a really great mid-week deal.

Clean room, spacious, recently renovated, good parking and location, sadly had some noisy neighbours in room next door/property next door at night making noise but place is good for the price and lovely staff

Check in was quick, room was very clean and updated. A thicker blanket would be great, don’t want to use the heater and then try and sleep in a stuffy room with no blankets.

My first choice in Monterey! I am a repeat customer here, so this review comes after over three years of staying here probably around 50 nights over the three years. I come back here because the staff is family operated, and their computers save my preferences, since some rooms don't work for me, but it's in their system so every time I call, they know what rooms I prefer. They just did a remodel, and the price is still very competitive!

Beautiful room with upgrades. Only issue was that it was pet-friendly and I thought there was no pet fee. Had to pay $45 for the night when I arrived with my small dog.
